Internally designated as the 965, the Porsche 964 Turbo was produced between 1991 and 1992 featuring wide wheel arch flares, a tea tray rear spoiler, uprated brakes, and a turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six engine paired with a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. This 1991 example was originally delivered to Saudi Arabia finished in Cobalt Blue Metallic over Linen and blue leather interior. It came factory-equipped with optional power Sport Seats, Light Rootwood dashboard trim, a leather-covered handbrake lever, a colored leather shift knob with a gold Porsche crest, and an electric sunroof. Imported by the seller from Austria, this 964 Turbo is now being offered for auction out of Oregon with approximately 69k kilometers or 43k miles showing on the odometer.
Compared to the standard 964 Carrera, the Turbo features wider bumpers, flared wheel arches, dual exhaust outlets, and a tea tray rear spoiler from the 930 model. This example is presented in Cobalt Blue Metallic (L37U) and rides on factory 17” Cup wheels with optional colored Porsche crest center caps. Equipment includes aero mirrors, integrated fog lights, headlamp washers, RoW-spec side marker lights, an electric sunroof, a rear window wiper, and black Porsche-branded brake calipers. The seller describes the exterior to be in excellent overall condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is appointed with Linen and blue leather upholstery accented by optional Light Rootwood trim on the dashboard and instrument surround. It features optional power-adjustable Sport Seats, a Linen leather gear knob with a gold Porsche crest, a leather-covered parking brake handle, a blue leather four-spoke steering wheel, automatic climate control, a central locking system, an onboard computer, and a Becker Grand Prix AM/FM/ CD stereo. The interior is reported to be in very good condition relative to its age and the seller indicates all gauges and accessories are fully functional.
Derived from the previous 930 model, the 964 Turbo’s 3.3-liter M30/69 flat-six engine was updated with a revised air intake and exhaust system, new Bosch Motronic engine management, a larger intercooler, and a more responsive turbocharger. It delivers up to 320 HP and 347 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The car features power steering, coil-spring dampers, ABS, and 928 S4-derived ventilated disc brakes with fixed 4-piston aluminum calipers at each corner. The seller notes a service record showing a recent oil change is available.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “As one of the fastest production cars being built in the early 90s, the 964 Turbo was a class favorite. Between the iconic design and featured in the "Bad Boys" movie - these cars hold a special place is many people’s hearts. This Turbo, finished in Cobalt Blue over a blue and linen interior, is the ultimate "yacht" spec as some might call it. The Light Rootwood trim ties in the interior and exterior colors perfectly. Now is your chance to get the opportunity to own one beautiful 964 Turbo - don't miss out!”

Coming down to the last few minutes here! Best of luck everyone and happy bidding!
I have imported multiple 964 and 993 from overseas, mainly Northern European countries and most have paintwork regardless of miles. The Europeans aren't stuck on "original paint" like US collectors/buyers as most Europeans actually drive these cars. This being a Saudi car originally got some very unique factory touches incl. the wood trim and golden shift plaque, truly a one off. Sport seats a definite bonus. I think the 3.3 offers far more unique build specs than the later 3.6 Turbo. Super cool car, Doobie Bros. + Yacht club here we come!

@C3 Because this is a freshly imported car, there is no carfax yet... Yes and title is clean.
@Michaelmotorcar There is no CARFAX available to be gererated for this vehicle.
@C3 There is no CARFAX available to be gererated for this vehicle.
@gpmotors
Can we get any kind of confirmation the title is clean? Can you pull a carfax report for us? (Even if it doesn't have much on it)
Bid in the amount of $180,000
@Michaelmotorcar It was submitted to DMV. Title is on its way to us.
SURPRISED NO CARFAX? I MEAN HAS IT BEEN TITLED IN THE US????
Bid in the amount of $175,000
Bid in the amount of $170,500
@vengerider we don’t know but damage is damage regardless if it was cosmetic or from another source. I’m not indicating by any means this car was in an accident but something happened that led to painting of the door and blending of the rear quarter.
@C3 Did you speak to the seller? How do you know there was damage? Clearly, the entire drivers side and passenger side rear quarter was repainted but if it was just cosmetic no big deal. If there was damage that should be disclosed.
Bid in the amount of $170,000
@vengerider the carfax history would start when the car was imported and show everything from that point on. It is unlikely the damage that led to the repaint on the driver side happened since it arrived in the US but it is possible. Would be good to see a carfax even if it is limited.
There is some documentation from before it was imported which is nice. Is the import documentation part of the documentation that will accompany the car?
@Gpmotors Is there an accident history that has not been disclosed? Being that this is not a US car the Carfax would be meaningless as it would only show entries since US importation. What is C3 referring to?
Bid in the amount of $168,750
Is there a CARFAX available ?
Did I miss the CarFax somehow? Is there one here?
Bid in the amount of $167,000
Bid in the amount of $166,750
@gpmotors
Thanks for getting those up! So based on the meter readings would you agree that its fair to assume the damage was primarily located on the drivers door and then blended into the driver's side rear fender?
@C3 Photos uploaded

@gpmotors thanks for the quick response.
1) Yes indeed air cooled. Sorry was just implying fluids in general. Thanks for the note.
2) Ok great re: tires it was just hard to read in the photos.
3) Thanks. If possible to focus around the fender to door areas so we can see how far the paintwork extends.
4) Great news as well.
@C3 1) Any 911 manufactured for the road pre 1999, did not use coolant. Some oil seepage from the valve covers and timing covers were noted by my service manager.
2) Date codes read 2023 on the tires
3) I will post more photos of the paint work requested.
4) no tape lines. Paint on this car looks as it did when it came from the factory.
@seller
1) Have any leaks been noticed? (Oil, coolant, etc) (Don’t see a response to this from an earlier request)
2) Can you please note the date codes on the tires?
3) Can you please post more paint meter readings around the driver door and fender? Trying to gauge the level of paintwork done in that area and how far it extends.
4) Are there any tape lines inside the door jambs or anywhere else?

@SofiaLeo I am not the seller but typically on cars this old 5.5-6 is the max you'll see for an originally painted panel. Some people may debate whether anything over 5 is repainted due to single stage paint on these cars.
@vengerider thank you! The panel that read higher in the paint meter readings are repainted or just from the factory at the higher range?

@gpmotors Do you think you can post paint meter readings and underside pictures?

@gpmotors
Do you have paint meter readings; are there any service records; can you post underbody pictures; are there any leaks; does a/c work; what are date codes on tires; can you post a picture of the underhood options sticker?
Thank you
