Finished in the rare shade of Signal Green over Cashmere Beige leather, this RoW 1991 Porsche 964 Turbo features optional Sport Seats and a sunroof delete. Internally designated as the 965, the Porsche 964 Turbo was produced between 1991 and 1992, presenting wide wheel arch flares, a tea tray rear spoiler, upgraded brakes, and a turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six engine mated to a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle and limited-slip differential. Initially delivered in Japan, this example later joined a private collection in Germany before being imported to the United States under current ownership. It is now being offered for auction with less than 85k kilometers (~53k miles) showing on the odometer.

This Turbo was factory-specified in the extremely uncommon shade of Signal Green (L22S) with an optional sunroof delete. Compared to the standard 964 Carrera, the Turbo features wider bumpers, flared wheel arches, dual exhaust outlets, and a tea tray rear spoiler from the 930 model. Equipment also includes aero mirrors, integrated fog lights, headlamp washers, RoW-spec side marker lights, a rear window wiper, black Porsche-branded brake calipers, and factory 17” Cup wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Highlighting desirable factory-optioned power Sport Seats, the cabin is upholstered in Cashmere Beige (YA) leather complemented with a black dashboard, four-spoke steering wheel, and door tops. Accessories include power front seats, power windows, automatic climate control, a central locking system, an onboard computer, and an upgraded Blaupunkt head unit with Bluetooth connectivity. The gear knob and handbrake are wrapped in leather, while matching carpets line the floors.

The 964 Turbo is powered by an upgraded version of the 930’s turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six engine including a revised air intake and exhaust, revised Bosch Motronic programming, a 50% larger intercooler, and an improved K27 turbocharger with 0.7 bar maximum boost. A factory-rated output of 315 HP and 332 lb-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller adds that recent service includes an air conditioning recharge and an oil change. A collection of maintenance records will accompany the sale.

This sale will include a clean title and a host of documentation.

The seller would like you to know: “Originally from Japan, this 964 turbo is an extremely well-preserved example that has been kept in large collections. After spending some time in Japan, it was purchased from a large collector in Germany, where the car had spent time before we purchased it and brought it to the United States. Between the factory Signal Green paint, the sunroof delete, and the Sport Seats - this Turbo is truly one of a kind and speaks for itself in the photos.”

It would have looked (and sounded) better if the driver in the video had heel-toed on the downshifts instead of just dropping the clutch.

Cars this rare can’t hide. I remember this car in the hands of Early 911S many years ago… and also Dr. Georg Konradsheim before that I believe.
Let’s just say, always in collectors hands and among the top Porsche circles overseas.

There was a nice Signal 3.3 on center display at Air + Water and that’s the only other 3.3 Signal Turbo I’ve seen.

There was a 3.6 Signal Turbo that RPM Motorcars sold years ago and made its way around the East coast and potentially exported??

I personally think the 3.3 is so overlooked. Better colors by far than its predecessor 3.6! I also love the more pedestrian 17” Cup wheels - it’s a IYKYK car vs “Bad Boy.” Draws all the right attention!

Can’t lose on this car no matter what the price - they’re not making them any longer and especially in this beautiful 70’s hue!

  • beton6 (registered bidder) 4 days, 7 hoursago

I went to GP Motors during my spring brake and saw this and other amazing color cars, all looked prestine. GLWS

  • Silver930 (registered bidder) 4 days, 14 hoursago

Very close to Viper green from the 70s really beautiful 3.3 here wow.

  • VinPicsMiles (registered bidder) 4 days, 14 hoursago

    Looks good. GLWS.

  • gpmotors (seller) 4 days, 15 hoursago

@desertracer @Butzi yes we did have it in Carmel for anyone at car week to see it in person!
@desertracer The car will be back at the showroom today and will have all of that online.

  • cobalt 4 days, 18 hoursago

Signal green is a rather rare color on any 965. I believe there are 2 3.6T's not sure how many 3.3's but I have seen less than a handful over the decades. FYI, actual boost range set at the factory is between .75 and .81 bar for the 3.3's and higher for the 3.6's but the gauges were never that accurate and read a max of .7 bar. Also being a RoW Spec it isn't a sunroof delete it is a non optioned sunroof car. Only the US had the sunroof as standard option equipment. I agree paint meter readings are a must on this but how many Signal green turbos will ever come up for sale?

  • desertracer 5 days, 6 hoursago

This listing is useless until we have paint meter readings and underbody photos. Is there a COA available as well?

Wow, now that’s great video! But of course the car is the show. Spectacular 964 Turbo!

    Best wishes.

  • Elfer1 (registered bidder) 6 days, 16 hoursago

@RBeal let’s be honest, on a car like this, there’s not much point in a $125k bid either.

  • RBeal (registered bidder) 6 days, 17 hoursago

    Why even bid under $100k
