This 1991 Porsche 964 Carrera Coupe has received a meticulous 3-year transformation into a SuperSport restomod by Abreu Motors. The exterior features a classic long-hood conversion, wide-body styling, and enhanced aerodynamics, finished in Grigio Alloy paint. Inside, the cabin is upholstered in off-white Spinneybeck Italian leather with painted hardback carbon fiber sport seats, a redesigned center console, bespoke turbine-style interior components, and satin nickel metal accents. The original flat-six has been enlarged to 4.0 liters and is paired with a 5-speed G50 manual transmission. Additional upgrades include a No Politics Racing G50 Torque Flow limited-slip differential, custom center-exit exhaust, Bilstein suspension, front axle lift system, Brembo GT brake system, and 18” Fikse wheels. The first of a limited production run, this SuperSport (#001) has been driven approximately 300 miles since completion and is now being offered for auction out of Florida.

Following arrival at Abreu Motors’ facility, the original 964 chassis was disassembled, stripped to bare metal, and customized with iconic long-hood styling, low-profile bumpers, widebody fenders, 935-style rocker panels, and an unmistakable ducktail rear spoiler. The bodywork is finished in Grigio Alloy paint from Ferrari’s paint collection and complemented with satin nickel metal trim along with a black painted lower front valance and rear diffuser. Details include aluminum bullet-style power-operated side mirrors, an aluminum front grille, minimalistic front turn signals, LED headlights with SuperSport insignias, revised taillights, a rear quarter Lexan window induction system, 935-style center-mounted exhaust outlets, a twin-grille rear decklid, and distinctive SuperSport badging. This 911 is mounted on custom 18” Fiske wheels with a two-tone satin nickel and satin black finish, wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact Sport D2 tires. A collection of images is available for viewing in the gallery.

Inside, the cabin has been outfitted with off-white Spinneybeck Italian leather with tan leather contrasts and satin nickel metal accents. The custom carbon fiber hardback sport seats feature painted backrests, Midnight Blue seatbelts, and satin nickel metal hardware. Details also include aluminum turbine-style air vents, a matching shifter, a leather-wrapped MOMO Prototipo steering wheel with a white 12 o’clock marker, a two-tone central tachometer, an engine push-start button, leather-wrapped window induction components, and aluminum door sills with SuperSport insignias. Other noteworthy details include RS-style door panels, aluminum footrests, dimmable ambient lighting, and SuperSport embellished leather floor mats. A Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) system and electric air conditioning have also been fitted.

The original numbers-matching flat-six engine underwent a comprehensive engine-out nut-and-bolt restoration, including a displacement enlargement to 4.0 liters. This was achieved utilizing bespoke-specification camshafts, a GT3 crankshaft, Capricorn pistons, high-flow injectors, and a custom ECU, resulting in a reported 400 horsepower. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a refreshed and resealed 5-speed G50 manual transmission paired with a No Politics Racing G50 Torque Flow limited-slip differential. Additional upgrades include Bilstein suspension, a 2” front axle lift system, Brembo GT brakes, and a custom high-heat coated metal exhaust system. The seller recommends scheduling a 500-mile maintenance at Abreu Motors to perform a full service and tune the car according to the buyer's driving style.

Delivering outstanding craftsmanship and advanced engineering, this SuperSport restomod is offered with a clean title and a custom leather-wrapped specifications booklet.

The seller would like you to know: “This is SuperSport #001, it is Abreu Motor's modern interpretation of the iconic long-hood style, combining 1970s retro aesthetics with advanced aerodynamics and contemporary innovations.  - It is a culmination of a 3 year long research and development process, and the first of a limited run, with 2 additional build orders in progress for 2025.”

    Hey, Guys!

I would like to share my experience with Abreu Motors.

I am a Porsche enthusiast, and I own multiple P cars. A few days ago, I had a chance to test drive the car, review all its features, and meet with the owner.

The car looks much better in person.

Driving experience: I spent a good 20 minutes driving the car. The induction sound from the side intake is addictive (if you drove a Gt4 RS, you know what I mean, but multiply it by 2x). The torque from the 4.0L is something special and is on par with modern 991/992 GT3 cars. I can tell for sure that if you are a true P enthusiast, this car will be a perfect complement to your garage, and every drive will be an event.

Design: Each design element is true art. Gear shifter, side intakes, headlights, rear LED lights, ducktail, carbon seats – all custom-made in-house with love and attention to detail.

All I can say is that Fabi is an exceptional entrepreneur obsessed with the car's design and engineering custom components. After 30 minutes in the shop, you can clearly tell these guys know what they are doing, and the product is exceptional.

    Fabi, GLWS!

@MstBFst I’m very familiar with the Abreu Winery, though not related; their wines are often praised for their luxurious complexity and impeccable balance—and speaking of impeccable, the car is also a blast to drive! 😎 🏁🏁

Instead of shipping the car to Miami for service, you could fly the mechanic to the west coast. Cheaper. 😊

@pcardriver Hello! That's a great question. And thank you 🏁..Unfortunately, we don’t have a location on the West Coast, so the car would need to be shipped to Miami for service. However, as I mentioned earlier, the car retains its 964 essence. We haven't changed the fundamental functionality of the air-cooled 964; everything is exactly where it should be, and any experienced mechanic should be able to work on it without any problems.

  • pcardriver 6 days, 19 hoursago

Abreu Motors is sure bringing some beautiful cars to the table. I don't suppose you have any affiliated shops for those of us living on the west coast? All significant/warranty work would entail shipping the car across country back to Miami? GLWS.

@UltraM This is a combination of metal and carbon, but for our upcoming builds, we're planning a complete metal flare setup. However, we will retain the carbon rockers, bumpers, and ducktail.

  • AbreuMotors (seller) 1 week, 2 daysago

I want to emphasize that this 964 retains all of its original factory components, including the wiring harnesses / computer for diagnostics. We've kept the car's original character intact, so any air-cooled mechanic will have no trouble servicing it once it's on a lift, or locating parts for it..The management system is still factory-original, dual-plug ignition setup.

@robertschachtesq The system features a factory Porsche single AC condenser, an electric compressor, a module, a factory condenser fan, and our relays. The compressor, sourced from Qualy Air, operates flawlessly. It also includes a new expansion valve and our new plumbing lines, all wired to the factory control module for dashboard controls. The system is designed to integrate seamlessly with the factory setup.

To power this system, we utilize an all-aluminum Wasp 🐝 alternator, which delivers 75 A at idle and can reach a maximum output of 240 A, ensuring that all the car's electronics are effectively managed.
