The second generation of the 300ZX was sold in the north american market from 1990 through 1996 and followed the naming convention started by the original 204Z. This 1991 example comes finished in Platinum Mist Metallic over a Charcoal leather interior. It was first acquired by the seller in 2011 before being sold and later reacquired in 2021. It came factory equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine paired with 5-speed manual transmission and has received a host of high-end upgrades including a JDM-style front bumper cover, 18″ Nismo wheels, a big brake kit, upgraded turbochargers, a Link GX4 ECU with an E85 flex-fuel tune, and much more. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida while showing just over 71k miles on its odometer.
This 300ZX comes finished in Platinum Mist Metallic and is said to have been refinished in 2017. The finish is said to have received a full wheels-off single-stage paint correction, along with a coat of Optimum Gloss Coat, CarPro Flyby 30 glass coating, and 22PLE VM1 Extreme wheel and metal coating. Detailed images can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX. It came factory equipped with removable glass T-top roof panels and has been upgraded with a Japanese specification front bumper, corner lights and taillights, Twin Z front and side lips, and rear diffuser, aluminum splash shields, shaved rear wiper and antenna, an LED light conversion, and a set of bronze-finished 18″ Nismo LMGT4 wheels. The wheels are said to show minor curb rash and come dressed in a set of staggered-width Nitto NT05 tires.
Inside, the seats are upholstered in Charcoal leather with matching carpets, dashboard, and door panels. The seller reports that the cabin remains in excellent overall condition aside from minor wear on the door panels. Upgrades include a short throw shifter, a steering column mounted Link Can gauges, and a custom sound system featuring a Kenwood Excelon double-din head unit, Herts Energy font speakers, Focal Performance rear speakers, two 10” subwoofers, and a JL audio amplifier. The car came factory equipped with automatic climate control, and the seller reports that the air conditioning system has been overhauled, though the blower motor door hangs up when changing air flow direction. The shift knob and shift boot have been replaced, the gauge cluster was re-soldered and the interior lights have been converted with LED bulbs.
Power comes from a VG30DETT twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine which is said to have been replaced in 2017 with a used Japanese-market unit. The rear wheels were originally driven by way of an automatic transmission which has been swapped out in favor of a 5-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The engine has been upgraded with Z1 Motorsports GT555 turbochargers, AMS exhaust manifolds, Specialty Z intercoolers, a Koyo aluminum radiator, a Setrab oil cooler, a Link GX4 ECU with an E85 flex-fuel tune, and is said to produce 414rwhp at 13psi on 91 octane fuel, 460rwhp at 17psi on 93 octane fuel, and 560rwhp at 19-20psi on e85 fuel. The seller notes that the Super HICAS four-wheel steering system has been removed along with the power transistor unit (PTU) harness. Stopping power is provided by a Brembo big-brake kit at all four corners, while the suspension has been upgraded with adjustable coil overs and Energy suspension bushings. Additional upgrades include:
This sale will include a clean title (lien).
The seller would like you to know: "This example has the vin number edged into the t-tops and from what I've seen it's a rare thing. Also, the car cannot pass an emissions test and cannot be sold to a private party in California."

@matpatte Sure thing, headlights are adjusted that way for best led bulbs shine on the road at night, the wide angle photos make it look more dramatic than it is. I'll show it all can be straight though and take pics of ttops in the Hatch between sub boxes.
Can you fix the alignment of driver side headlight and photograph it?
Also pics of the t-tops fitment in the trunk would be great.

@Comish Honestly, I'd daily drive it like it is if I had to,but if something had to be changed I'd say not having it as low and maybe not as loud of an exhaust for everyday use for someone else.
In your opinion would need to be changed for it to be a reliable daily driver?
