Now available for auction at no reserve is this 1991 C126 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC finished in Arctic White over a grey leather interior. Based on the S-Class sedan, the C126 was offered by Mercedes as a luxurious grand touring coupe, with the range-topping 560SEC version carrying a 5.6L V8 engine. Marking the model’s final year of production, this 1991 example was sold new in Atlanta, Georgia, and had spent time in the Midwest and Pacific Northwest before being acquired by the current owner out of Nevada in November of 2020. Previously listed on PCARMARKET, this C126 is now being offered for auction once again at no reserve.
This 560SEC comes finished in Arctic White (147) with gray lower cladding and polished accents around the windows, bumpers, and side moldings. Equipment includes headlight wipers, fog lights, a power antenna, and a power sunroof. The sleek pillarless window architecture was penned by Bruno Sacco, the Italian automotive designer behind many iconic Mercedes-Benz designs including the W140 S-Class, R129 SL-Class, and W124 E-Class. The seller notes a deep scratch on the front bumper and some other minor imperfections throughout the exterior, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This 560SEC rides on 16” W124 500E wheels mounted with Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires. The original 15” Gullideckel wheels are also said to accompany the sale.
The interior features gray leather upholstery with pleated door inserts, power-adjustable and heated front seats, individual rear seats, and decorative burl wood veneers. Driver’s amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, heat-insulating glass, rear electric sunshades, and a Becker Grand Prix 2000 AM/FM cassette stereo system. The seller reports minor wear on the driver’s seat and oxidation around the instrument cluster. The CARFAX report shows a mile inconsistency in 2014 which may have resulted from a clerical error, and the seller contests that the mileage displayed on the odometer is accurate.
The 560SEC is powered by a 5.6L M117 V8 with Bosch KE-Jetronic fuel injection. Up to 238 HP and 287 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission. Other mechanical features include power-assisted steering, a self-leveling fully independent suspension, and power-assisted disc brakes with ABS. The CARFAX report shows a long history of regular maintenance, including service at Mercedes-Benz of Portland, Oregon, and specialty European shops in Georgia. Images of the undercarriage are provided in the gallery.
This sale will include a set of two remote keys, a toolkit, and a clean Nevada title. A luxurious grand touring car built for high-speed autobahn cruising, this 560SEC presents an excellent opportunity at a German classic.

Taking a walk down the street yesterday I spotted one of these. I got closer and sure enough it was a 560SEC. Even the same color, same rims. Is it a sign?? I'll be keeping an eye on this one. GLWTA.
