This 1991 Land Rover Defender 110 is said to have been imported into the United States from the south of Spain in 2019 after it was repainted in its original gold metallic color in addition to receiving a Rhino-lined interior, a new headliner, a leather storage cubby, and reupholstered seats in black leather. Recent service includes a new transmission and clutch, a new transfer case, a new head gasket, a new water pump and thermostat, a new battery, new transmission boots, and new radiator hoses. It was fitted with a replacement odometer that reads around 550 miles traveled since its installation, although the seller reports the true mileage to be approximately 107,500 miles. This 1991 Defender 110 is now being offered for auction out of Maryland.
The exterior is finished in a gold metallic color and is reported to have been repainted prior to import in 2019. Equipment includes a gloss black roof with Alpine windows, matte black fender flares, front and rear steel bumpers, a rear-mounted tire carrier, a hitch ball on the rear bumper, hood vents, sliding rear windows, and a fold-down windscreen. The seller reports some spots of rust are present on the bottom of the driver’s side door and bulkhead under the windshield, as well as some light corrosion on the undercarriage. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The black 16” five-spoke wheels are mounted with Rally Sahara all-terrain tires from 2019.
The interior features two front seats, a rear bench seat, and two inward-facing jump seats in the cargo area all fitted with new black leather seat covers. The interior floor has been covered in Rhino liner for added durability and weatherproofing. Amenities include a leather-wrapped center console with integrated cupholders and a locking storage cubby, air conditioning, and manually operated windows. The seller reports the fuel gauge light for low fuel is always illuminated and will usually not read below a ¼ tank of gas, and the coolant temperature gauge will spike intermittently.
This Defender 110 is equipped with a 200TDi 2.5L turbodiesel inline four-cylinder, which generates up to 107 HP and 195 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven by a 5-speed manual transmission a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. The seller reports recent service includes a new head gasket, a new transmission and clutch, a new battery, a new transfer case, a new water pump and thermostat, new transmission boots, and new radiator hoses.
This sale will include a full-sized spare tire, some maintenance documentation, and a clean title.

@Bill_Noon Hi Bill - I wouldn't anticipate any issues with the drive home, the truck is mechanically in great shape. I would just suggest sticking to the slower lane - these trucks were built for off road, not speed and acceleration. I have two keys for the truck. The first two rows are fitting with the stock seat belts, however the third row bench seats do not have seat belts. I hope this helps. Good luck
Would you anticipate any problems for a 250 mile drive home if I won this auction?
Anything I should be concerned about that might leave me stranded?
How many sets of keys do you have?
Are the front two rows and middle seats fitted with the stock five sets of seat belts?
What about the back compartment bench seats? Any seat belts?
Best of luck with all your sales,
Bill Noon
Thank you for the bids. As the auction comes to an end, please let me know if you have any questions. I'm here and happy to help.
