The Eagle Talon was introduced in 1990 as a joint venture between Mitsubishi and Chrysler, manufactured at the Diamond Star Motors facility in Normal, Illinois. Like its Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX counterpart, the Talon TSi was powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 4G63T engine that sends power to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. This 1991 example was purchased new at Glen Erin Chrysler, Jeep, Renault of Oakville, Ontario and has remained under the care of its original owner while receiving all new paint as well as a full rebuild of its engine and transmission. Showing approximately 252k kilometers (156k miles) on the odometer, this Talon TSi AWD is now being offered without reserve by its original owner in Canada.
The exterior comes finished in Bright White Clearcoat with a Lamp Black Clearcoat roof, pop-up headlights, fog lights, a rear spoiler, a rear window wiper, power-adjustable side mirrors, a sunroof, and “16V DOHC Turbo All-Wheel Drive” graphics on the rocker panels. The seller reports the exterior was inspected for rust, cleaned, and completely refinished about 10 years ago. The paint is described to be in good condition with some flaws above the fenders and bumpers, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The white-painted 16” wheels are mounted with older Michelin Radial X tires.
The interior is trimmed in grey cloth upholstery including front bucket seats with adjustable thigh and lumbar support, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and locks, automatic safety belts, and a premium six-speaker cassette stereo with a graphic equalizer and a CD player. A stain is noted on the rear seat and the seller confirms all accessories and instrumentation to be working properly.
The turbocharged and intercooled 2.0-liter 4G63T inline-four was factory rated at 190 HP and 203 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and limited-slip rear differential, which allows the Talon to reach 60 MPH from a standstill in around 7 seconds. The engine has reportedly been completely rebuilt with upgraded valves, pistons, guides, and bearings in addition to a rebuild of the transmission and turbocharger. The fuel pump, fuel tank, clutch servo, and hydraulic line have also been replaced, and a new stainless steel exhaust system was installed several years ago.
This sale will include a set of two keys, a repair manual, the owner's manual, and a clean title.

@BReif61 The cams were reground, new racing pistons and rods installed, the engine was detuned to reduce the idle speed and will run on regular gas. As mentioned, the turbo has been rebuilt. The car still has giddy-up and go bigtime..
Relevant comment: was the engine rebuild done using stock parts?
Oh man, it even still has the stock shift knob!
I had one of these back in the day in silver with the same interior! This is an amazing looking car based on the miles. This might be a worlds record! Thanks for the memories. GLWTA
