Now available for auction is this 1991 BMW E30 325i Convertible. This E30 is said to have been inherited by the seller from a family member who kept the vehicle in excellent running order with proper maintenance including an engine refresh in 2018 at 146k miles. Featuring a naturally aspirated straight-six engine paired with an automatic transmission, this increasingly desirable BMW E30 is now being offered by its seller out of Ohio, with approximately 155k miles showing on the odometer.
This BMW was reportedly refinished in a custom color under previous ownership and a corresponding invoice will be included. The exterior is said to be in excellent condition and a new cabriolet top will be included in the sale. The second series E30 debuted external styling updates including redesigned taillights, a revised front bumper, and deletion of chrome trim. Some custom exterior trim pieces have been added and this 325i rides on new 16" multi-piece wheels dressed in new tires. The factory 14" BMW basketweave wheels are also included in the sale.
Within the past 5 years, a previous owner is said to have added new custom two-tone black and grey leather upholstery. An alternative BMW steering wheel has been installed along with an aftermarket stereo, amplifier, and dual subwoofers in the trunk. The seller reports a buzzing sound from the right turn signal, the convertible top motor is nonfunctional, and a check brake pad light is currently on, although the braking system is said to be working properly. The original steering wheel will also be included in the sale.
This E30 is equipped with a naturally aspirated M20 2.5 L straight-six engine. Approximately 168 HP and 164 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed ZF automatic transmission. An invoice from Bergman Autowerks shows a significant refresh of the engine in March of 2018 at 146,962 miles. A collection of service records will be included in the sale.
This sale will include a set of 2 keys, service records, factory 14" wheels, the original steering wheel, a new cabriolet top, and a clean title.

@Mookieroe Thank you, understood
@BlocboyJBPritzker it is somewhat of a personal situation but the prior owner is a family member who is not with us anymore and I inherited the car. I am in process of relocating so will not have room for it. So, car is not being sold twice. Thanks for your question.
What made you want to part with the car? Just out of curiosity, sounds like it’s being sold twice within a few years
Thank you so much! I didn’t look deeply enough
@vandyatc yes if you go down and scroll through the documents that are attached you will see a document with the headline “Bergman Autowerks” dated 03/06/2018. If you look at that page you will say that they replaced timing belt when they performed all of the other significant engine replacement under previous owner. This work was performed at 146,962 miles so quite recently when you consider number of miles on car now. Thanks
I can’t quite tell in the images. Was the timing belt recently replaced? Thank you!
Thank you for the bids so far. This is truly a great car! Convertible season is not that far away. I am here to answer any questions.
