Starting in 1991, BMW E30s were offered with the optional S333 M-Technic Sport Package which equipped the M-Tech 2 body kit, an M-Sport suspension with lowering springs and stiffer shocks, Shadowline exterior trim, M-Sport seats, and an M-Sport steering wheel. This 1991 slicktop example was originally delivered to Japan, where it spent the majority of its life in Toyko before being imported to the United States in January 2022. Finished in Diamond Black Metallic with gray body cladding over an Anthracite cloth interior, this rare M-Technic E30 now shows approximately 50k kilometers (31k miles) and is being offered for auction by its seller out of Washington.
The exterior is finished in Diamond Black Metallic (181) with gray lowering body cladding. The S333 M-Technic Sport Package equips a specialized front bumper and valence, side body moldings and side skirts, a unique rear bumper and valence, and a fixed rear decklid spoiler, as well as M badging on the grille, black Shadowline exterior trim, and M-Technic badging on the side moldings and rear spoiler. There was no sunroof equipped from the factory. The seller reports the exterior to remain in excellent condition, noting two door dings, one of the driver’s side fender and the other on the passenger door. The lower front fascia shows some scrapes and touch-ups, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The original wheels have been replaced with 16” AC Schnitzer Type 1 wheels, finished in black with polished lips.
The interior features bolstered M-Sport seats upholstered in Anthracite cloth and leather trim, with BMW M stripe badges on the backrests, matching M-Technic branded door sill plates, and an M-Tech II leather steering wheel. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, central locking, power windows, and the original radio has been replaced with a Sony head unit and a trunk-mounted CD changer. The seller notes a small crack in the dashboard and some shrinking of the leather on the driver’s seatback.
The 2.0L M20 inline-six engine produces up to 123 HP and 121 lb.-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission. The M-Technic Sport Package equips lower springs and stiffer shock absorbers. Upon importation of the vehicle in the United States, the fluids were changed and new tires and spark plugs were installed. The seller reports the brake pad warning light is illuminated due to the installation of aftermarket brake pads without pad wear sensors.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, and some service documentation.

@2mAn,
Very good point and thanks for the suggestion ! I'm slowly finding out from different sources that since there's no vin# in the system (here in California) that it would be almost impossible to register this beautiful and very unique E30 in California .
Good luck to both seller & and the next new owner .
What a stunning car this is . Nice and clean all around . The Mtech 2 cars just look way better than standard version e30 i think . Perhaps i need that wife talk and build another garage in next two days .
@Efariab Id suggest the out-of-state registration as the M20B20 was never sold in the US so it will be a nightmare to try and satisfy the BAR with. Save yourself the headache
@2mAn Deserves a swap but a beauty she is !
@drewsity,
Thanks for the response!
@Efariab im not sure what’s involved tbh… I think most people down there just register the car out of state to avoid the hassle.
What a great looking car, classic!! I love everything about the styling, body kit AC wheels…
I can overlook that it’s an automatic and only 123HP because I would just want to walk out to the garage just to look at it every morning. This makes for a good reason to get out of bed every morning!! GLWTA

Hi there seller, great looking E30 !
I live in State California with very tough emissions laws and wondering since this car originally started as a Japanese market car, but now in the US and in State of Washington.
So, if you have any information that this car can be entered and pass the smog (Emissions) test here in California ??
Thanks in advance !
@Trump2024 Not Fake News... its only a 2.0L M20
Is the HP a misprint only 124hp ?
