Introduced as a compact and rugged off-roader, the Suzuki Jimny features lightweight construction, simple mechanicals, and exceptional off-pavement capability. This right-hand-drive 1990 example is said to have been originally purchased in Japan by a U.S. serviceman, later brought to Hawaii, and eventually acquired by the current seller out of South Carolina. Powered by a turbocharged 657cc inline-three engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a manual transfer case, it is refinished in charcoal grey metallic over a black interior. It comes equipped with manual locking front hubs, a winch-equipped front bumper, upgraded lighting, aftermarket wheels, and more. This well-presented Jimny is now being offered for auction by its seller out of South Carolina.
This example is refinished in charcoal grey metallic and features a flat hood with a functional scoop, circular LED headlights with halo-style daytime running lights, amber corner lights, an integrated front winch, dual side mirrors, and a fender-mounted antenna. It rides on aftermarket 15” wheels wrapped in Toyo Open Country A/T tires, and a matching full-size spare is mounted to the tailgate. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The right-hand-drive cabin features front bucket seats and a folding rear bench upholstered in black leatherette with perforated inserts and contrast stitching. Interior appointments include manual window cranks, dark grey carpeting, a Suzuki-branded four-spoke steering wheel, an orange-lettered gauge cluster, auxiliary gauges, and an aftermarket flip-down touchscreen media player. All gauges and electronics are reported to function properly
Power comes from a turbocharged and intercooled 657cc F6A inline-three engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, a part-time 4WD system, and a manual transfer case. The drivetrain includes manual locking front hubs, and the suspension consists of leaf springs at both the front and rear.
This sale will include an import certificate and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “I acquired this example during Monterey Car Week in California several years ago. Everyone's favorite forbidden alternative to the Wrangler. Runs great, winch is new, tons of fun, ‘impossible to kill.’

@BensBenz there is a reserve with this offering, BUT I wouldn’t let that discourage you. Most of the time the reserve is well below market value.
Happy bidding!
