This Japanese-market 1990 Rover Mini was modified under previous ownership and refinished in custom light blue paint over a racing-style interior. It features a Saito roll cage, low-back bucket seats, aluminum diamond plate floorboards, a Moto-Lita steering wheel, a custom shifter, 13” SSR mesh wheels, fender flares, a 4-speed manual transaxle, and a 998cc inline-four engine paired with a Weber carburetor, headers, and a sport exhaust system. Having been imported and registered in the U.S., this customized Rover Mini is now being offered for auction out of Virginia.
The exterior has been refinished in light blue paint with a contrasting black roof panel and matching fender flares. Accessories include polished bumpers and trim pieces, dual bullet-style side mirrors, a fender-mounted antenna, an external fuel cap, and 13” SSR mesh spoke wheels. The seller notes that the paint is in excellent condition, except for a slight rock chip on the lower driver’s door, and that the tires are over 10 years old. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The black interior has been modified with aluminum diamond plate floorboards, low-back bucket seats, a Saito roll cage, a three-spoke Moto-Lita steering wheel, a custom shifter, and a replacement vintage-style gauge set. The seller indicates all gauges and accessories are fully functional.
Power comes from a 998cc inline-four engine equipped with a Weber carburetor, headers, and a sport exhaust system. The front wheels are driven through a 4-speed manual transaxle. An oil change and safety inspection are said to have been recently completed.
This sale will include a clean title.

Can we also get a cold start video with a walk around and close up of engine running after cold start. Thanks
Thanks I will get a driving video today.
May I ask why the windscreen wiper is pointing up, look like a unit for a LHD car. Any driving video?

Minis are famously fun to drive and this is a key part of their appeal. Although steering is a little heavy (few cars have power steering), it is direct and nimble to handle, offering great traction on corners and roundabouts.
no A/C
As it was imported from Japan, does it have AC?
