This 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 was subject to a full restoration and backdate by Abreu Motors, which included a windows-out repaint in Guards Red, a custom all-metal backdate widebody kit, a numbers-matching custom-built 3.9L engine by Elio Metri at e-megatronic, a rebuilt 5-speed manual transmission by Holleran’s Performance, a custom exhaust system, a complete undercarriage/suspension refresh, Bilstein adjustable coilovers, 993 “Big Red” brakes, custom 17-inch Braid Fuchs wheels, custom 9Eleven LED headlights, two-tone custom interior with black Berkshire leather and Avion Storm Cloud patterned inserts with grommets, custom carbon fiber trim, RS-style door panels, Retrosound 911 Long Beach audio, a rebuilt air conditioning system, and much more. With approximately 69,965 miles on the chassis and just under 3,470 miles driven since the restoration, this 964 Carrera 4 Backdate is now being offered at auction by the seller based out of Ohio.
The original 964 chassis was completely disassembled and fitted with a custom-fabricated full-metal body conversion including fender flares, a new vented front hood, and retro backdate bumpers, as well as custom chrome flag mirrors, and custom chrome rocker panels. The bodywork was repainted in the factory color of Guards Red (84A), and received all new rubber seals and full-body paint protection film. Details include custom 9Eleven LED headlights, a carbon fiber front spoiler, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, polished rear bumperettes, a rear windshield wiper, red brake calipers with white Porsche script, and dual polished exhaust tips. The custom 17” Fuchs-style wheels by Braid are mounted with new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 all-season tires.
The cabin has been completely redone with custom black Berkshire leather, hand-sewn Charcoal German wool custom carpet with black piping, RS door panels, custom armrests, power-operated seats with Avion Storm Cloud inserts and silver grommets, and matching back seats in Avion Storm Cloud. The front trunk has also been reupholstered with matching carpeting and a custom leather tool holder. Other details include custom carbon fiber trim on the dashboard, a leather-wrapped dashboard, a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel with a custom Porsche horn button and a new steering hub, a custom shift knob, a Vintage center dash with metal trim, restored gauges and a custom speedometer, a Rennline pedal set and passenger side kick plate, Rennline floorboards, custom sill plates, and a custom center console with a cup holder. A Retrosound Long Beach radio with Bluetooth has been added along with Focal 6.5” speakers. Under the front hood, a custom Abreu Motors specifications sticker has been placed alongside the original factory production label.
This 964 Backdate is powered by a rebuilt numbers-matching custom 3.9L flat-six which was built by Elio Metri at e-megatronic, with a bore of 103mm, a stroke of 76.4mm, and RSR pistons with an 11:5 compression ratio. All four wheels are driven by the original 5-speed transmission which was rebuilt by Holleran’s Performance with a new Sachs pressure plate and flywheel. The undercarriage was completely refreshed during the restoration, including new bushings, hardware, spring plates, plugs, stabilizer bars, control arms, ball joints, tie rods, mounts, stainless steel brake lines, and undercoating. Performance features include a full stainless steel custom exhaust, 993 “Big Red” brake calipers with new rotors, pads, and stainless lines, a rebuilt power steering pump and steering rack, a Rennline carbon fiber heater duct, FVD 964 performance software, and Bilstein adjustable coilovers. The seller also reports the air conditioning system was overhauled and converted to R134A, including a new compressor, condenser, blower, servos, fuses, and resistors.
This sale will include a clean title, bidding is not available to other dealers or LLCs.

What octane fuel does this run on? PS. I’d be amazed if this passed a CA smog visual test.

@Zdp911 according to what we found, all of the ratings it passed for TN would mean it would pass CA smog requirements.
If you can find out please and let us know, Thanks
@Zdp911 It passed TN Hamilton County inspection which does include a smog check. I’ll have to dig in further to find out more.
will the car pass California smog?

Wow, that was one of the first cars out of Abreu! I wonder how much it would cost and if someone could get Abreu to refresh it and take it next level like the cars they are putting out now!
