Finished in Black over a Cashmere Beige and Black partial leather interior, this 1990 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Coupe is equipped with a 5-speed G50 manual transmission sending power to its rear wheels. It also features a set of 17” Cup wheels, a Steve Wong performance chip, a catalytic converter bypass, a RUF front spoiler, an optional 8-way power driver’s seat, an electric sunroof, and more. The car is said to have been cared for by a Porsche shop owner before it was purchased by the seller in late 2020. Having undergone extensive service over the last year including new engine seals and upgraded billet timing covers, this 964 is now being offered for auction out of Virginia with just over 57k miles showing on the odometer.
This Coupe is finished in Black (L700) and rides on 17” Cup wheels in silver. Other equipment includes a speed-activated rear spoiler, power mirrors, an electric sunroof, integrated fog lights, black Porsche-branded brake calipers, and an aftermarket RUF front spoiler. The car’s exterior is described as being in very good overall condition apart from some small imperfections on the front end and a minor dent on the left rear bumper. The seller adds that new Nitto tires were mounted shortly before their purchase in 2020 and the tailpipe was refinished in 2023 along with repairs to the rear spoiler mechanism.
The Cashmere Beige and Black partial leather interior includes an optional 8-way power driver’s seat, a four-spoke leather steering wheel, and carpet floor mats with Carrera 2 logos. Other accessories include air conditioning, cruise control, an analog quartz clock, a Blaupunkt Reno 2 cassette stereo, and an optional amplifier. The seller notes that the original radio’s sound quality is poor and likely needs to be serviced.
Rated at 247 HP, the air-cooled 3.6-liter M64 flat-six engine sends power to the rear wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. The car has been modified with a Steve Wong performance ECU chip and a catalytic converter bypass for increased sound and power. Records show that the clutch and flywheel were replaced under prior ownership along with an engine-out service and valve adjustments. Service completed under current ownership in 2023 included an engine reseal with new return tubes, gaskets, and hardware along with painting the lower cam covers, installing upgraded billet aluminum timing covers, and resealing the exhaust system.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, an air pump, a car cover, service records, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “I bought this car as it was my dream car back in high school. I have taken it on many joy rides and absolutely love it...unfortunately, I love spending time with my family and boating and fishing too much, and don't get to use it as often as I would like. I have put a lot of effort into further sorting the car and whoever takes possession of it next will need to do nothing other than get in and drive! My next project was to either repair or replace the radio as the original Blaupunkt is sounding pretty scratchy. I just loved the look of it and the sound of the engine too much to care! Please message me with any questions.”

The car has been in for a few services as you can see. Michael at Stuutgart knows the car very well and has not brought up any other issues to me. We really spent time trying to get everything right! He’s very personable and can answer any questions if you call him. He knows the car is being auctioned
Hi there, nice looking car and local for me!
Has the head gasket, or lack thereof rather, issue been addressed and if not has there any leaking noted during service? I didn’t see anything about it in the records, sorry if I missed it. Thanks!

Good morning everyone. I will be available all day for questions. This is a highly original car other than the few simple mods described. Hopefully after today it will go the next person who will cherish it! Good luck to all those interested!! I've got the original catalytic converter and chip that will come with the car if so desired.
