Up for auction is this 1990 944 S2.  This 944 S2 Coupe holds its place in Porsche history by being one of less than 500 US coupe variations produced in 1990.  It was originally introduced as one of Porsche's premier normally aspirated performance cars.  This example was originally imported from Japan to Saskatoon, Canada, where it spent many years in a climate controlled environment.  The car is new being offered by the current owner out of Toronto, Canada in excellent turn-key condition. 

The black paint is stated to be all-original and in well-above average condition.  Only minor signs of road going wear are present including a few front end rock chips and a chip on the rear bumper (reference photo gallery for a full overview of the interior).  From factory, the 944 S2 came standard with features from the Turbo model including an upgraded front bumper and valence, rocker panel extensions, and a rear diffuser panel.  This S2 also features block style Porsche writing on the bottom portion of the doors along with a factory sunroof delete.  Adding to the car's already aggressive look are a set of black coated OEM style 17" Carrera wheels that wear brand new Goodyear tires (the original wheels are included with the sale).

This 944 sports a black partial leather interior that is stated to be in great condition with minimal wear.  The dashboard is showing a few cracks, typical of a vehicle with this age and mileage.  Both the front and rear seats have been professionally reupholstered with bespoke red cloth inserts and are paired with a leather style wrapped red steering wheel center (a new OEM steering wheel is included with the sale).  The seller states that in November of 2012, the radio was upgraded to a Pioneer head unit and all speakers were replaced.

This 944 retains its original 3.0L inline-four cylinder engine that is mated to a desirable 5-speed manual transmission.  Producing 208HP and 207 lb-ft of torque, the car offers plenty of power for an exciting driving experience.  A service performed just this year included a full transmission flush, brake fluid flush, coolant flush, oil and filter change, new spark plugs, and recharged A/C.   Additional services include :
