We are pleased to offer this 1990 Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer. A beautiful representation of Singer’s craftsmanship and impeccable attention to detail, the Sundown Commission is finished in Horizon Blue Metallic over a bespoke Chestnut suede-mix special leather weave interior. It carries a G50 6-speed manual gearbox paired with a hand-built 4.0L flat-six specially developed by Ed Pink Racing Engines in California. Other features include Ohlins suspension, large Brembo brakes, and nickel-plated exterior trim. Completed in July of 2016 after a year-long build process, this Singer was formerly owned by Adam Levine of the band Maroon 5 and is now in possession of legendary racing driver Graham Rahal. A truly outstanding build with less than 2,500 miles traveled since completion, this Reimagined 911 is now being offered for auction by Graham Rahal Performance out of Indiana.
The Sundown Commission is finished in Paint to Sample Horizon Blue Metallic, a shade originally offered by Porsche as a special-order color on the 964 models. Upon commencement of the build, this 911 was comprehensively disassembled before the unibody was media blasted to bare metal and treated for rust prevention. The chassis received additional reinforcements and custom fabrication to accomodate the new backdated carbon fiber bodywork. Modern lighting is also incorporated including state-of-the-art Hella Bi-Xenon headlights which were developed for P1 Prototype race cars. Custom exterior details include nickel-plated bumperettes and window trim, a classic “911” decklid badge, Midnight Blue brake calipers, and 17” forged RS wheels with a black and nickel finish. New Michelin tires have been recently installed in preparation for sale.
The cabin is appointed with Chestnut suede-mix special leather weave upholstery as well as square-weave carpeted floorboards and leather covered interior panels. The custom Recaro Touring seats feature matching brown piping, decorative brass grommets, and 8-way power adjustment. The rear compartment includes folding seat backrests, seatbelts, and a leather-wrapped central tunnel. A leather-wrapped MOMO Prototipo steering wheel sits ahead of a black dashboard including early-style 911 gauges with green markings and a Hi-Fi upgraded stereo system with a subwoofer. The seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.
Beneath the nickel-plated rear decklid grille lies a naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six which has been meticulously developed and hand-built by the engineers at Ed Pink Racing Engines in California. This engine retains the case of a 964 and uses a custom crankshaft along with new pistons, cylinders, connecting rods, cams, cylinder heads, throttle bodies, a custom intake plenum, and an optimized lightweight stainless-steel exhaust. The engine is paired with a MoTeC M1 series ECU operating in conjunction with dual MoTeC Power Distribution Modules and Bosch components that replace the entire fuse system.
As much as 400 HP and 315 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels through a custom close-ratio 6-speed G50 manual gearbox with a limited-slip differential. An optional Ohlins suspension is equipped along with Brembo steel brakes. The original rack and pinion steering system has also been replaced in favor of the improved 993 design. Each Singer 911 is thoroughly tuned and tested prior to delivery, and its onboard data logging and diagnostics abilities allow remote access for service wherever the car is located.
This sale will include a collection of orignal documentation and a clean title. With customers waiting years in advance for a commission of their own, this beautifully appointed Singer offers a perfect opportunity for anyone looking to skip the line and get directly behind the wheel of a Reimagined 911.

Work of art on wheels!
FYI - we checked and the discoloring on the front bumper is clear bra only. GRP will replace if client wishes.
@GrahamRahalPerformance Thank you.
@mwvmnw no worries. Good luck!
@GrahamRahalPerformance great. Sorry about fat finger pressing unconstructive, not meaning that, I apologize. Meant to like.
@allcarsgerman that is a reflection. There is no blemish there at all.
@mwvmnw removed! The car will sell today!
@GrahamRahalPerformance lifted the reserve means "increased" or "removed" ?
Photo #58 shows a small white mark and oval discoloration above the passenger rear fender. Is this just a reflection or an actual blemish? Thanks.
@Imthedecidah ….to each his own ……. If your going to play in this price bracket one can afford to do ANY THING he or she wants
Bid in the amount of $900,500
This color is breathtakingly beautiful! This was originally Adam Levine's car?
LAST DAY! Good luck everyone. I’ve LIFTED THE RESERVE, let’s have a great day of fun and bidding ??
@Chetsstm3 the back has minor discoloring in the clear bra I believe. In my opinion, its nothing worth correcting or worrying about currently. We have not addressed it on purpose.
The front, I need to look. I do not recall this whatsoever from being around the car many, many times. I will confirm and report back, but again looks to be in the clear.
@sthein agree with this statement! I have personally owned a Singer, and the car is phenomenal. I daily drove it, and adored my time in it.
I wish everyone the best in this auction. Guarantee we will stand behind the vehicle and take great care of you. We are excited to see this beauty go to a new home, and be enjoyed to the fullest!
@hudd07 - not preaching just sharing: I am lucky enough to own one of these and am approaching 12k miles. It is not perfect, now, which is just fine and, in a way, I welcomed the first blemish. Sure, it hurts but I bought the car to use and now it's not perfect. But, that said, there are plenty of fine people who buy to collect, show and their ownership experience is no less than mine, just different. Will my car be worth less? Probably but that's not why I bought it. I bought it to use, not to show and hope it would appreciate. We all need to reflect on being less judgemental, IMHO.
First and foremost, WOW! I have lusted after one of these cars for some time now and have come close on more then one occasion to putting my name on the list. This spec is amazing. Couple of questions regarding the pictures. On pics 10, 11 and 19 there looks to be a discoloration or burn mark above the exhaust tips. Is that just the lighting or is there something there? Also on pics 15 and 16 there is a mark just above the amber turn signal. What is that? More nit picking then anything as the car looks stunning overall, thank you for bringing it here!
Always love the people without $1M to bid saying they would take an investment grade car and ding it up because it’s no big deal. I hope whomever buys this drives it, but it’s definitely an investment.
I don’t get it... Do you buy it to drive it or just look at it? <2500miles is gross. Its not like you can't just take it back to Rob and the boys and get it fixed. I mean, what's a little carbon fiber and paint gonna set you back? Odds are a Singer never sees a Carfax. So what's it gonna be? -- The guardrail or the deer? The parking lot drag racer or just the idiot that never learned the function of a rear view mirror? ...We all end-up tagged sooner or later, may as well enjoy all the special work that went into this car along the way. -- Anyway, who am I to tell the masters of the universe what's what...

Graham doesn't mess around when it comes to cars. He finds the best stuff. I bought a GT2RS from him last year and he's tracking down a certain 911 for me right now. Graham called me when he got his hands on this one and I drove it a few weeks ago, nearly bought it. It is 100% THE best car I've ever driven and the color is sooo good. Ultimately, I decided to sign up for the full build process with Singer instead bc my twin 9 year old boys want to design one with me (Graham couldn't compete with that). Buyer will have a great experience and get ready for Graham's sales pitch on bringing it to his track days:) Do it!
@Jtkeller That GT isn't too shabby either. Similar money I suspect at the end of the day. Would be a tough call. Different beasts.
I had the opportunity to see this car in person last week while touring Graham’s shop and looking over the purple FGT he had on BAT.
The car is in perfect shape. It was up on the lift being serviced so I had the opportunity to inspect the underside. It is spotless underneath; an absolute work of art. The exterior color is even better in person and the rich brown interior is stunning. Finally, Graham is a class act and rest assured you’ll have an honest transaction.

The original name of this car was the Rock Island commission, the 2nd owner renamed it to Sundown. The only modification done from its original spec from what I can see is the upgrade to the Porsche classic radio. You can see the early photos from Singer by searching on IG under #rockislandcommission
Its great to see this car again, I saw it when it was @ Marshall Goldman in Beverly Hills a few years ago. And thats where I believe Adam picked it up. At the time Marshall was the 3rd owner of the car and it’s a shame that it doesn't stay in one place for too long. I believe the car has changed hands around 5 times already (adding Adam and GRP) so hopefully she will find her forever home here.
@pcarracer500 Actually what we need to recalibrate is what Adam Levines lifestyle must be like and how driving a car like this fits in.
@pcarracer500 Dude... The original owner. In 1990. ;
@noahkl It was completed in 2016, so you're saying ~600 miles per year is really driving the car? If so, I need to recalibrate my definition of what constitutes driving the car...
Lovely car but the price of admission is not for the faint of heart
Good to see the original owner truly drove this thing. And now it deserves a pampered life. It sure is sweet!
a $750K Bid ! WOW !!!
I’ve bought several cars from GRP and I can attest that they source the best of the best cars and are honest, forthright, responsive and true enthusiasts. I’d never hesitate to buy from them. Highest marks possible in my book.
@GrahamRahalPerformance I’m maybe I read the listing too quick, but it only mentions the tires? My bad for sure.
@vicktorvolpe newer restoration! Maybe older chassis year, but the restoration is newer. We have also just completed a fresh service and it has new latest greatest Michelin tires on it. Definitely a stunning car, the photos do not do the color justice, its outstanding!
@vicktorvolpe True…but les miles.
@PheasantRun older car, no extra wheels.....but graham Rahal. Gonna be interesting to see how this flies.
Bid in the amount of $750,000
That'll do....
Oh dam. Another Singer is on the block. Just yesterday one sold for a million fifty. Let's see where this beauty takes us. GLWS!
