The last 911 Targa to feature a traditional removable roof panel, the 964 version is among the rarest models of its generation with only 1,252 examples produced for the U.S. market. This 1990 Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Targa is finished in Guards Red over a Cashmere Beige interior. It was originally specified for customer accession at the factory in Zuffenhausen through Porsche’s European Delivery program and features a 5-speed G50 manual gearbox, optional power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, an aftermarket sound system, and aftermarket 18” multi-piece wheels. First registered in Massachusetts, this 964 was imported to Canada in 2006 and has been under the care of its current owner since 2012.
This 964 is finished in Guards Red with a black Targa bar and removable roof panel. Equipment includes fog lights, power mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, black Porsche-branded brake calipers, and aftermarket 18” RUFF Racing multi-piece wheels. The CARFAX report shows an accident in 2005 that resulted in a total loss declaration by an insurance company, and the seller states that the exterior was completely refinished before the current owner's purchase in 2012. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The Cashmere Beige interior includes power-adjustable seats, a black leather four-spoke steering wheel, automatic climate control, cruise control, a central locking system, an aftermarket center console armrest, and a Sony stereo with aftermarket speakers. The CARFAX report shows previous mileage inconsistencies and the true mileage is unknown.
An air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine provides up to 247 HP and 228 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. Stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brakes and ventilated rotors at each corner. The seller indicates maintenance records dating back to 2012 are available, and service has been performed at GTA Performance of Saint-Hubert under current ownership.
This sale will include a Canadian registration.

Fight. To win! No! Don't look back!
@MarkFank Good Morning: Current owner ( last 12 years of ownership (2012-2024) bought it without knowing the History of the car. (Retail client ) In that circumstance: No background photos are available. He bought it thinking it was Condition 1.5 and He took Excellent care of it. Babied & Pampered.
A/C & Heater both works.
In 2005: 964 sold at a fraction of today’s standards. Insurance company were quick on the gun to discard the headaches of repairing the car. Easier to write checks. Similar damage today would lead to a Fix. Not a total loss. Historical Perspective.
Anyway: Car looks and is fantastical from all Angle. I had a great pleasure and privilege filming it. It was Marketed right after Porsche 959 made statements with Paris/Dakar races.
The Carrera 4 : The 911 You can Daily Drive all year around 365/365.
Just have a second set of wheels ( that i can Supply ) & Smack a foursome of studded Hakkapelitta 10 Nokian Tyres, and dominate every environment with Zuffenhausen’s symphony in Background.
Sounds like a decent Plan !?
BID. With Confidence.
FIGHT. To Win!
Can you provide photos of the accident damage and documentation of the repair? Does the A/C and heat work?
