This 1990 Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Coupe was sold new in Sweden where the current owner commissioned Porsche Center Haninge to perform a custom safari-style restoration that was completed between 2022 and 2023 at a cost of over €90,000. Finished in Silver Metallic over a red leather and pepita cloth interior, the car has been modified with a KRM 964 Safari suspension kit, a KRM roll bar, a carbon fiber rear ducktail spoiler, custom bumpers, wheel arch flares, Fuchs-style wheels, Hella driving lights, mud flaps, a roof rack, a winch, a Porsche Classic stereo, Recaro bucket seats, and an OMP steering wheel. Evoking the Paris-Dakar-winning Porsche rally cars of the 1980s, this custom safari-style 964 is now being offered for auction out of Sweden.
The car was refinished in Silver Metallic during the restoration along with the installation of bolt-on wheel arch flares, custom bumpers, and a carbon fiber rear ducktail spoiler. Details include custom grey stripe graphics, Hella 4000 driving lamps mounted in a carbon fiber hood pod, a front winch, mud flaps, a rear tow hitch, and a roof rack with a spare tire and jerrycans. The car rides on 16” Fuchs-style wheels mounted with BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires.
The custom interior features red leather upholstery, matching carpets, and black leather Recaro Pole Position bucket seats with pepita cloth centers and matching door panel inserts. Accessories include a black leather three-spoke OMP steering wheel, a KRM roll bar, air conditioning, power windows, a central locking system, and a modern Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) head unit.
An air-cooled 3.6-liter M64 flat-six engine delivers up to 247 HP to all four wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. The car’s suspension has been modified with a KRM 964 Safari kit including struts, shocks, top mounts, adjustable drop links, tie rod assemblies, spacers, ball joints, and bushings. The seller indicates a consistent maintenance history at various Porsche Centers throughout Sweden dating back to the original delivery.
This sale will include a collection of records and documentation, owner’s manuals, manufacturer’s literature, a spare tire, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “The ultimate all-weather Porsche!”

We would be happy helping you with shipping the car to the States, i reached out to my friends at Westcoastshipping and they gave this example, Hope it gives you a rough estimate even if you are not in New York!
The total cost for logistics from MOTIKON to New York is $4,150 all-in. US Import Fees depend on the value the buyer declares (basically what he ends up paying).
Happy bidding!
very nice... too bad it's in Sweden...
