@Gregory Thank you for your comment!
I have owned two 964's and I can tell you, that is what the tail lights and center piece look like as they age. Its not even so much sunlight, as look at the rest of the car, good dash, top of door cards, top etc. They just do that. I have replaced just the tail lights "lens", its a project but doable. Maybe there are cheaper replacements now. The center piece is harder but you can probably still find them used in better shape from resellers. Or just put a light grey tint film over to hide smaller cracks and the fading.
The gauges also do what this one shows, again you can fix, as thats not a hard DIY project.
Overall nice looking car with pretty low milage for them.

Stunning and original car there! Deserves a great home!
@JohnBlackyoldtimer The car is a consignment vehicle for one of our clients and he wanted to keep the originality of it which is why they were not replaced. We do not know of any accident with the car. It runs and drives excellent. We believe the taillight cracks are from age and the sun.
@RGAir-cooled Thank you for your inquiry and questions. We have added a bunch of new photos to the gallery in response to your questions including undercarriage, paint imperfections, and frunk without the carpets. There is also a close up of a rust spot on the cowl next to the windshield.
The top is automatic.
We are not aware of a repainted areas on the car.

If you bought the vehicle with the broken taillights, why didn't you replace them during the years you owned it? It would only have cost a few hundred dollars and there would be no way for moisture to get in! Can you rule out that it is not an accident, because the type of damage looks like it was caused by force. Did you have the rear end checked by a specialist workshop and was an accident ruled out? Or do you have another explanation for the damage?

Hi,
Any rust anywhere? Cowl, door sills etc.
Do you have any photos of the frunk without the carpets?
Any photos of the undercarriage?
Manual or auto cab top?
Do you have any closeup shots of the paint imperfections you mention?
A couple of paint meter readings are a little high…are you aware of any repainted areas?
Thank you.

@JohnBlackyoldtimer The condition of the taillights is how they were when we purchased the car. It appears it is from age.
