This 1990 Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Coupe is the subject of a custom restoration by Abreu Motors Automotive & Design with over 3,000 hours of painstaking craftsmanship. The car has been modified with backdated steel F-Series bodywork and is finished in the Lamborghini color of Verde Ermes over a bespoke black Spinneybeck full-grain Italian leather interior with deviated green stitching and multi-tone woven leather accents. It derives power from a rebuilt 3.9-liter flat-six engine by Emegatronic paired with a 5-speed G50 manual gearbox. This 964 also features satin nickel trim, titanium interior hardware, painted hardback sport seats, a three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, a Porsche Classic head unit, electric air conditioning, Monte Carlo rally timers, upgraded Brembo “Big Red” brakes, Bilstein suspension, 17” Fikse Fuchs-style wheels, a custom exhaust with 935-style tailpipes, and much more. This no-expense-spared 964 backdate is now being offered for auction out of Florida with approximately 3,500 miles driven since the restoration was completed.
This 964 has been modified with backdated steel fender flares, composite F-Body bumpers, and a custom decklid spoiler. The exterior underwent a glass-out refinish in the factory Lamborghini color of Verde Ermes complemented by satin nickel trim, gold Porsche script side stripes, yellow-painted brake calipers, and custom 17” Fikse Fuchs-style wheels with champagne-colored accents. Other details include LED projector headlamps, classic-style taillights, gold rear Porsche badging, an electric sunroof, bullet-style through-glass mirrors, and dual 935-style center-mounted tailpipes. The seller notes the paintwork was completed 2 years ago and is preserved under full-body paint protection film. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin has been completely redone with a bespoke composite tub finished in black Spinneybeck Italian full-grain leather. Matching leather covers the dashboard and center console with deviated green stitching. The painted hardback sport seats feature grey, black, and yellow woven leather inserts that extend to the rear compartment, dashboard, and door panels. Details include a three-spoke MOMO steering wheel with contrast stitching, a bespoke anodized shifter with green numbers, titanium hardware, satin nickel trim, rally step plates, a quilted leather trunk liner, Monte Carlo rally timers, a Porsche Classic stereo with navigation and Bluetooth, a cell phone charger, an electric air conditioning system, and a bespoke Abreu Motors tachometer.
Power comes from an M64 flat-six engine that was rebuilt and upgraded to a 3.9-liter displacement by Emegatronic. It sends power to all four wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle rebuilt by Holleran’s Performance in California. The car features upgraded Bilstein suspension, Brembo “Big Red” brake calipers, cross-drilled rotors, stainless-steel brake lines, a Bosch S6 battery, and a trunk-mounted battery cutoff switch
This sale will include owner’s manuals, sales literature, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “The car stands out and drives fantastic.”

@skipmots you can't price shot backdates. Build quality and spec is what it is about. Most are lipstick on a pig, this is clearly the real deal

This is absolutely gorgeous.
I had a chance to drive this beauty, and it’s even better looking in person. The way the color changes when the sun hits it, is amazing.
Mechanically, it’s everything you want in a 911. The gears shift smoothly and the car not only feels very planted, but nimble in the corners.
Bid with confidence! I've had a few local individuals come by to check out the car in person. Remember, it takes two years to build one of these. This is your opportunity to own an exceptional vehicle, and I'm also providing a one-year warranty on it!
My personalized plate for the ride would be "Goblin" :) Very nice build
@theiii C4 car….

@gruppe993 C4 and it has sunroof 👍🏼🏁

Can anyone confirm if the car has been converted to rear wheel drive? Sunroof delete should be a must have on these builds :)

@silk You have a sharp eye, my friend! Yes, it was absent during the photoshoot as we were still deciding on the color. Take a look at all the photos now; it has been completed, and it looks fantastic. I also appreciate your feedback on the wipers. Cheers!

minor issue but why is the front 4 inch section of passenger side Porsche script missing in some pics unless it is a photo flaw? Also minor but having restored several early 911s I would switch the wiper stop to the right side instead..very minor but this makes drivers line of sight clearer..otherwise absolutely beautiful car and I wish seller a super sale...
"3,500 miles driven since the restoration was completed."
The interior is spectacular, as is the Lamborghini factory color, and it sounds great!
But I am curious about the backstory of how you came to (re)sell this. Did the owner have so many cars that he only put on 3500 miles? Did he have an Ugly Divorce? Did he leave the planet early?
I would be loathe to part with such a beauty unless a higher power made me...

@mjsmitty11 I just completed and uploaded a driving video. Now it's up to PCar to post it to the auction.
@RASKL Yes, it will have a book, along with a one year drivetrain warranty.
Is there a build book with this car like you had with the black one? Also, are you offering a drivetrain warranty as you did with that one?
@mjsmitty11 Should have it done in a few hours.
How about some operational videos? I mean the music video was nice and all...LOL...but let's hear the music of the engine!

@SpartyRob84 Absolutely 👍🏼
Does the rear spoiler raise and lower automatically after the mods?

Hello everyone! I've just uploaded some photos, including undercarriage shots and a fun walkthrough video. I'll be filming a running video later today and posting it tomorrow. Apologies for the wait—it's just me handling everything, but I'm doing my best! 🏁🏁
porschebf - In my opinion there are 3 models being built today. Backdate / Tribute / Outlaw. The backdate represents 63-73 911 model year. A G body (74-89) or a 964 (89-94) base is utilized. The components bumper/fenders are installed similar to the original early model years. Very similar to the backdate is a Tribute: These builds are identical to the RS (RSR) lightweight or IROC early model years. The Outlaw in my opinion is significantly fabricated in it's design where every model has it's own bespoke look. Throwing a different bumper on a 911 doesn't represent a true Outlaw or going into a parts bin and utilizing what's available. Fabrication across the design is what makes the Outlaw stand out. Backdates and Tributes gave true identity to the Outlaw. Slowly becoming an up and coming market segment.
Could you guys tell me your opinion on backdate vs outlaw ?
A Google search is not coming up with much, how do you define the difference ?
Thanks
My complements on another high quality build. I build outlaws for a hobby and have a very good understanding of what goes into these back-dates / outlaw models. The majority of enthusiast's aren't aware of the cost/time to develop this beauty. Consider a good condition 964/4 today is $100 thousand !! This quality builds is minimum $200 thousand invested. Anything less than $350 thousand is a loss or a labor of love !

Hello everyone,
It’s a beautiful, sunny day here in Miami. I’m currently working on videos and taking undercarriage photos, and I should have them uploaded online in a few hours. Stay tuned!
@DiscoZ I don't have any dyno results yet, but I plan to post a few videos soon. Today was a rainy day in Miami.
Hello - Is there a dyno? Additionally, what is the safe rev limit for the car? Any videos?
Good morning, everyone! I’ll be dedicating most of my day to answering any questions you may have about this auction. Additionally, I’ll be sharing undercarriage photos and a few short videos to provide you with valuable content for assessing the overall quality of this build. Stay tuned for updates! 🏁🏁

Can you post any operational videos?
Good for you!! And congrats on the excellent outcome. !
Please note that the through-glass mirror is made of metal, not plastic like most others. Additionally, the window is actual glass, not plexiglass, which I had specially cut to fit the mirror.
@Lottacars Well, it didn’t sell here because no one had the chance to see it in person. One client flew in from Dallas, and within 20 minutes, he said, "I’ll take it." I won’t reveal the exact numbers, but let’s just say it was significantly more than the auction estimates. It’s a fact, not something I made up. she’s actually leaving my shop for delivery this week.

Please note that the tachometer shown in the pictures is not the current one installed in the car. I will take new photos and videos on Monday.
@MTtoAZ Absolutely! The absence of a crank-driven belt makes a significant difference for this air-cooled engine, enhancing drivability and adding a bit of extra horsepower—around 10 to 15 HP. The compressor is located in the front bonnet, next to the battery. I’m fortunate to have a fantastic electrical expert on our team, from whom I’ve learned a lot. He has everything wired through the fuse box and integrated with the factory HVAC module, and it works like a charm!
@ARC944 That's a great question, and I appreciate the opportunity to respond thoughtfully. The appraisal value really hinges on the quality of the build; I've seen cars sell for impressive amounts, despite lacking in quality. Building a reputation takes time, and although I have been in this industry for 18 years, I’ve successfully sold many vehicles, including one recently for over $360,000. My cars are designed with daily drivability in mind, and the investment of time and money in building one of these is significant, which is reflected in some of the higher asking prices. This particular car is a prime example of a well-crafted vehicle that deserves careful evaluation.
@AbreuMotors How well does the electric a/c work and where is the compressor? Not having a crank driven compressor in the engine compartment really cleans up the beautiful engine bay. Very nice!
Bid in the amount of $82,964
@AbreuMotors thank you for the response. This is such an impressive and beautiful restomod, truly a work of art. If one were to purchase, is there an appraisal value that you would place on the car? Thanks in advance.
Bid in the amount of $81,964
I've never been a big fan of green, but honestly, I've never been so captivated by a car as much as this one. Wow! Thank God I don't have an endless stack of dough, because my emotions would get the best of me on this one. GLWA, and I hope whoever buys this won't turn it into a garage queen.
@ARC944 It took more than a year to complete everything, including new paint, interior, wheels, brakes, oil lines, brake lines, engine work, gearbox work, and countless details that are best appreciated in person, as photos don't do them justice. I have all the documentation and will provide a binder to the auction winner.
Bid in the amount of $80,964
Please note that the car has a new tachometer I just installed, which has a more golden color—I’ll take a photo of it. Additionally, the step plate features “Oro Commission.” If the buyer prefers a different design, we can accommodate that change.
Hi. This is gorgeous. I know your black car didn’t sell (I think) at a couple of auctions and at Merit as maybe the reserve was pretty high. Does this car have a reserve and if so is it possible my lower?
On Monday, I'll be sharing some high-definition videos so everyone can see the quality up close. These will be raw videos—no fancy editing or production—just a straightforward look at the car's overall quality. I'll also include a few outdoor photos.
@590HP I would say it has approximately 330 hp. However, the car lost a few pounds during the build, going from about 3,250 pounds to 2,950.
Spectacular job -- the interior looks wonderful, and excellent choice of (Lambo) color. Really impressive.
What's the HP on the 3.9?
Bid in the amount of $76,100
Hi everyone, I’m Fabie Abreu, the builder of this restomod. This car is truly exceptional—one of the best I’ve created. I still need to upload undercarriage photos, some detailed shots not visible here, and a few exterior photos featuring the new Porsche side stripes. Bid with confidence; I fully stand behind this car.
Interesting to “see” this again, kind of. Quite a transformation from what it looked like 2.5 years ago. I assume your “3000 hours of painstaking craftsmanship” has been total (I.e. those hours weren’t incurred over the past 2.5 years). Can you clarify what has specifically been changed since then? Exterior color, interior redone, engine paint, new front clip, ??? For sure it’s more gorgeous than before! Will be interesting to see how this one ends.
Absolutely gorgeous rebuild. Do you have any receipts of the work that was done?
Wow, amazing build, love the interior and the extra little touches,
