This 964 C2 was sold new in Miami, Florida in 1990. The car changed hands and found its way to its next owner in New York in 2002. It remained with the same owner for 17 years until it was discovered sitting in a parking garage alongside a 1977 Turbo, which were both acquired by the selling dealer in 2018.
Due to personal reasons, the car sat unused for over 10 years by the previous owner. Upon purchasing both cars, the selling dealer performed an inspection. Here's what was found on this 964: The car shows 92,176 miles on the odometer. The 964 has its original 3.6L M64 engine with 247hp that is connected to a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine is reported to be in excellent running condition. Depending on the new owners intentions, the paint can be left as is or undergo a full or partial re-spray. Regardless, the seller states that the body is rock solid and the engine is bone dry with no leaks. The unibody is solid and rust free and the spare is in like new condition. A leather bra was used for an extended period of time, causing the paint to fade and oxidize the front portion of hood. There are also very small areas of rust by the left cowl and left quarter glass (see photos).
The interior is completely intact and presents well with normal wear and tear. The dash shows some hairline cracks. The car comes equipped with 8-way power driver seat and power sunroof which operate as they should. The headliner has a tear as shown in photo and the rear spoiler is inoperative. (UPDATE: The rear spoiler was repaired and is now operating.)
The 17” wheels are from a 996 C4. The 11-year-old tires have plenty of tread but should be replaced.

Smoking deal so far, anything under $45k is a really good deal IMHO
The transmission and the parts needed to do a TIP to Manual swap is worth $15k alone.
Was there likely a "badge" on the hood at one point - hence the two holes?
My wife gets the plate, I get the car!
@11JM Thank you for your quick response!
@tyerden Correct, this is a Carrera 2 model. Previous owner just added the stickers. I would be happy to include the front plate.
Since the "RS" was not manufactured until 1992, I assume the RS Logo was added by previous owner?
Does the car come with front plate?
@Petroli @Adam
Imo this car is way to nice to be a donor car. If everything works as the listing states, this car is worth $40k plus. Just needs paint. Would be a shame to tear it apart. Even for a Singer.
Can't stop picturing this as a donor car for an RWB after seeing the White RWB go live.

@tyerden hi, turns out the spoiler is working. It was inop due to loose connections. A video has been added to the listing showing it working.
Bid in the amount of $21,500
Interested in bidding today. Can you share why rear spoiler is in-op? Have you had issue diagnosed? Any idea of budget to repair? If you could, are there any other repairs that would need to be made other than cosmetics so I can budget? Thank you very much!!! TRY
Bid in the amount of $15,813
@hangin24 I know right?! a garage find is rare and this is such a great car.
Bid in the amount of $14,500
Damn why can’t I find a Porsche parked for 10 years!!!
NO RESERVE? hmmmm will be interesting in a few days.
Im sure Singer is on this car and will sell for over $40k. I’ve seen much much worse sell for 30’s. Other than f’dup paint it seems pretty solid. Who gives a crap about the mileage.
If I am correct. This car and the turbo were parked at North shore Towers with covers on them and a lot of dust. I tride to find the owner but the doorman wouldn’t tell me who it is. I should have pushed more.
what a project car. i see this as an investment more than anything.
GOOD MOVE with the cold start video fellas! This is obviously a really decent car that Someone can restore, hot rod (singer) or iif you don’t care what you look like, drive as is.
It likely has been rolled back. Looks like mileage goes from 75k->80k->49k->63.1k->73k->91k
The mileage seems consistent. I would not worry about carfax if reselling is not a concern.
@HowS @Dipper17 The carfax has been added to the listing.
i looked up the carfax.... bogus mileage and an accident on the carfax
@ecrown77 yes they are. It also states it in the ad. Good luck.
I know not correct for the car but are those genuine factory Porsche Wheels?
Bid in the amount of $9,640
Can you post the carfax please?
@Petroli @Adam i agree. If i owned this i would re-paint guards red and get recaro seats brother.
A paint job and this 964 will be a wicked head turner - its already beautiful but there's a lot of potential with this car.
There will be underside pics up by Friday at the latest. Good luck bidding.
