Available for auction at no reserve is this 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis LS finished in Crystal Blue Metallic over a navy blue leather interior. The full-sized Grand Marquis was built from 1975 up until 2011 based on the sturdy Panther platform shared with the Lincoln Town Car. This first-generation 1990 example features a 5.0L Windsor V8, front bench seating, a Ford premium audio system, power accessories, and more. Recently serviced in preparation for sale, this Grand Marquis is now being offered for auction by its original owner out of New Jersey showing just over 34k miles on the odometer.
For 1988, the Grand Marquis underwent a mid-cycle update and received restyled front and rear fascias along with integrated aluminum bumpers. This full-sized Grand Marquis comes finished in Crystal Blue Metallic with a navy-blue half-length vinyl roof and "coach lamps" on either B-pillar. The car has reportedly been garage-kept by its owner since new and rides on a set of 15” steel wheels with wire-spoke hubcaps and Star Fire Classic whitewall tires. Additional photos can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, you will find a six-passenger cabin upholstered in navy blue leather with woodgrain trim and matching carpets. Amenities include power-operated front seats with individual armrests as well as a power antenna, windows, and door locks. A Ford premium audio system also comes equipped along with cruise control, air conditioning, and an upgraded Kenwood stereo. Some creasing is noted on the front seats and the seller reports all gauges and electrical features to be working properly.
Power comes from a 302ci 5.0L Windsor V8 which produces up to 150 HP and 270 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a Ford AOD 4-speed automatic transmission. The Grand Marquis is equipped with a double-wishbone suspension in the front and a live axle in the rear with coil springs at all four wheels. Braking is handled by ventilated discs in front and drums in the rear. The car is said to have received annual oil and filter services and recently undergone a full tune-up including all new fluids, filters, brake rotors, and tires.
This sale will include a clean title. Sparingly driven by its original owner, this time capsule 34k-mile Grand Marquis is ready for a new caretaker.

….the sturdy Panther platform shared with the Lincoln Town Car. @seller - Siri often does this auto correct thing to me as well. I think you meant to write, …the sturdy Panzerkampfwagen platform shared across the Panzer Tank Series - No? All joking aside, very cool vehicle. I honestly would love to add it to my collection, however, I recently bought a zeppelin and have limited space. GLWA!
