Driven less than 3k kilometers, this beautifully appointed and exceptionally preserved R129 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Switzerland.
This SL is finished in Impala Brown Metallic (441) with a Dark Brown folding convertible top and factory 16” 15-hole alloy wheels dressed in Bridgestone Potenza tires. Factory features include front fender vents, an automatic antenna, headlight wipers, heat-insulating glass, and front fog lights. The seller describes the car to have been kept in exceptional condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is trimmed in Light Brown leather with matching carpeting, burl wood veneers, and plaid upholstery on the seats and door panels. Driver amenities include automatic climate control, power-operated and heated seats with memory, power windows and mirrors, a deployable roll bar, cruise control, an onboard computer, a remote locking system, dual-tone horns, and a sound system paired with an original Becker Mexico cassette radio.
The 5.0-liter 32-valve M119 V8 engine was rated at 322 HP and drives the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic gearbox. A collection of documentation accompanies the sale including original maintenance books with stamped service entries.
This sale will include the original owner’s manuals and sales documentation, a toolkit, a spare tire, and a clean title.

@brownan This is not a rallye computer but an original option which is the trip computer. This was available as an option on all R129 models. We have just uploaded a few pictures form the original trip computer manual.
No mention of what I think is a likely very expensive rallye computer. Gorgeous car and what a color combo.
