The 1990 Land Rover Range Rover County was an iconic luxury SUV produced by Land Rover, emphasizing its rugged and utilitarian roots. This 1990 example comes finished in Colorado Silver Metallic over beige leather and is powered by a 3.9-liter V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission and dual-range transfer case. Reportedly owned between Washington and California, it is now being offered for auction with approximately 89k miles on the odometer.
This example is said to have been completely refinished in Colorado Silver Metallic. Equipment includes fog lights, headlamp washers, taillight grilles, running boards, rear mudflaps, and a rear window wiper. It rides on 16” tri-spoke alloy wheels with Michelin Defender LTX tires mounted in April 2022. The seller reports that the refinish was carried out several years ago due to clearcoat failure. Some dents, paint imperfections, and trim peeling are noted, and one of the wheel's center caps is missing. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is trimmed in beige leather upholstery deviated by a dark brown decorated dashboard, 4-spoke steering wheel, and center console. Equipment includes a power sunroof, a cassette stereo, an analog clock, cruise control, a cargo cover, and a cargo net. Signs of weathering on the headliner near the sunroof, and the seller notes the rear window switches are inoperative, the right window switch on the console works intermittently, the gauge range selector is loose, and the air conditioning does not blow cold.
Power is derived from a 3.9-liter V8 engine factory rated at 178 HP and 220 lb.-ft of torque and sent to all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission with a dual-range transfer case. Stopping power is provided by anti-lock discs at all four corners. The seller adds that the coil and rotor were replaced in January 2015, a safety check was carried out in April 2022, and the radiator was replaced in December 2022. Some oil seepage from the engine and transfer case is reported.
This sale will include a clean title and owner's manuals.

@pcc The gap between dash/A post is the same on the passenger side as per my client who now has the car back in storage.
Googling 1990 Range Rovers reveals cars with identical non-wood dash boards as well those with the wood you mention.
Again, Googling Range Rovers reveals 1990 models with and without chrome center bumpers bars.
I have to defer to the experts on these items as I'm not the expert here.
You'll have to evaluate the car on its own merits as it is presented.
My client has performed zero modifications during his ownership.
I uploaded 4 images with paint depth images and presume Pcar will install them in the photo essay soon.
Hope all this helps.
Also, it appears that the front and rear bumpers have been painted black The County came with chrome bumpers and black end caps.
Lastly, with no "County" decal on the rear tailgate and a mismatched "RANGE ROVER" lettering (silver on the tailgate and black on the hood) it would be helpful to see paint thickness readings to assess the repaint thickness levels on the vehicle panels.
Thanks for any additional context the seller and or previous owner(s) can provide.
Hi, i have a question about the interior finishing. It's my understanding that the County trim for 1990 included wood accents on the dash and console. Also, I noticed there is a large gap between the driver's side A-pillar and the dash. Does the seller know if the current/previous owner(s) did any restoration work and sourced a base level dash in good condition to replace the original dash?
