Marking the inaugural year of the Defender nameplate, this 1990 Land Rover Defender 110 was refurbished and modified in the style of a Camel Trophy truck in England prior to being imported to the U.S. in 2017. It features an upgraded 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission along with LED headlights, limb risers, a full-length roof rack, 16” Wolf-style wheels, and a reupholstered two-tone interior with a custom fold-out sleeping platform. Showing approximately 127k miles on the odometer, this Camel Trophy tribute is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Washington.
This Defender 110 has been refinished in a Camel Trophy-inspired shade of yellow and modified with the deletion of the cargo compartment windows and the installation of LED lights, Britpart mud flaps, black checkered steel lower body plates, a receiver hitch, a front brush guard, limb risers, a 10k pound winch, and a full-length roof rack with a rear ladder. The truck is decorated with Camel Trophy graphics and rides on body-colored 16” Wolf-style wheels with a matching rear-mounted spare and 285/75 BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The seller notes a few minor scratches are present, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The custom two-tone interior features black and tan seats with contrast piping as well as stainless steel shifter and transfer case knobs, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Land Rover-branded rubber floor mats, a 12-volt power outlet, a center console with cup holders, manual window cranks, a digital voltage readout, and toggle switches for the exterior lights. A custom fold-out sleeping platform has also been fitted in the cargo compartment. Some minor cracks are present on the dashboard panel and all gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional.
This Land Rover has been equipped with an upgraded 2.5-liter 300TDi turbodiesel inline-four engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case sending power to all four wheels. The suspension has also been upgraded with Britpart Super Gaz shock absorbers. The seller notes an oil change was completed in 2021 along with the replacement of the hood release mechanism.
This sale will include a clean title.

Inspired customization from a time when it wasn't a sin to have a diesel, when cigarette advertising was not banned like everything else is these days and when life was some what normal.
Great looking Landy seller, all the very best with the sale.
