Produced between 1987 and 1993, the third generation Ford Mustang is known as the “Fox-body” and was available as an LX or a GT model, and as a coupe or convertible. This 1990 example is a GT convertible and is finished in Light Titanium over a grey interior and features sport bucket seats, power steering, a 302ci V8, 15” turbine wheels, and more. This Mustang is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California while showing just over 22k miles on the odometer.
This Mustang is finished in Light Titanium with a black convertible soft top and a rear glass window. Details include GT-specific bodywork complemented by contrasting grey lower body panels. It includes fog lights, a rear luggage rack, paint-matched louvered taillights, and 15” turbine wheels fitted with Cooper Lifeliner Touring SLE tires from 2005. Additionally, Mustang GT branding can be found on the side skirts and rear bumper, along with "5.0" badging behind each front wheel arch. The seller notes some paint spotting on the hood and trunk as well as peeling on the bumper covers. Paint meter readings are said to display 4-8 mils throughout, and additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features grey cloth upholstery and equipment includes front bucket seats with power-adjustable lumbar support, air conditioning, a factory stereo with a cassette player, cruise control, and power windows. For the 1990 model year, the Mustang received an airbag-equipped steering wheel, an updated lower driver 's-side dash panel with a knee bolster, revised rear passenger quarter panels with speakers, and door map pockets. The grey carpets exhibit minor staining but are intact and the lower door pockets display slight sagging due to elastic stretching. The driver's power door lock occasionally sticks and the rear driver's side window is non-functioning. All other electronics are said to be working properly.
Powered by a 302ci V8, the Mustang sends up to 225 HP and 300 lb.-ft. of torque to its rear wheels by way of a 4-speed AOD automatic transmission. The 302ci V8 features E7TE heads and forged aluminum pistons with valve reliefs and an MAF system. Other equipment includes power steering and power front disc brakes. The vehicle is said to start promptly and maintain a smooth idle. However, a slight delay is noted during the shift into higher gears, suggesting potential transmission slippage, and indicating the need for servicing.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals, some documentation, a tonneau cover, and a clean title.

The A/C needs to be recharged as it is not blowing cold We suggest it is converted to 134a refrigerant and recharged
Ac is fully functioning, correct?
@faugrad Hello. As a dealer I always wonder about odometers that could turn over. The owner will sign a mileage statement , California DMV form 262 swearing that the mileage shown is correct. This will be furnished to the buyer
I know these Fox-bodies had 5 digit odometers vs the latter 6 digit versions. Seeing that mileage wasn't tracked until 2001 per Carfax, how confident is the seller that it didn't spin past the 100k mark? Not a knock, just genuinely curious.
