This 1990 BMW M3 is the subject of a custom rotisserie restoration by Gaskwerks Garage. It has been refinished in the iconic BMW color of Laguna Seca Blue and features a new interior with Recaro sport seats and custom black leather and houndstooth upholstery. The car derives power from a Turner Motorsports 2.5-liter stroker engine with Schrick cams and a SuperSprint exhaust. This M3 also features a KW coilover suspension and 17” BBS LM three-piece wheels. Driven less than 500 miles since the work was completed, this restored and upgraded E30 M3 is now being offered for auction out of New Jersey.
This E30 M3 has been completely stripped and refinished in the BMW E46-generation color of Laguna Seca Blue. Compared to a standard E30 3-series, all body parts are unique to the M3 version apart from the hood and roof panels, with the M3 further distinguishable by its boxed fenders, model-specific bumpers, flared rocker panels, and fixed rear wing. Equipment includes quad headlamps, a front spoiler with integrated fog lights, a sunroof, and dual polished SuperSprint exhaust tips. The car rides on 17” BBS LM three-piece wheels with gold-painted centers, polished outer lips, and new Continental tires.
The cabin has been redone with new black leather and houndstooth upholstery covering the Recaro front bucket seats, rear seats, and door panels. The headliner was replaced with Alcantara upholstery. Accessories include a black leather three-spoke M-Tech I steering wheel with colored stitching, an Alcantara M shift knob, BMW-branded floor mats, an M-branded instrument cluster, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks. The radio has been eliminated with a block-off plate.
Power comes from a rebuilt S14 DOHC inline-four engine with a Turner Motorsports 2.5-liter displacement upgrade kit, Schrick cams, and a SuperSprint exhaust. The rear wheels are driven through a Getrag 5-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car has also been modified with a KW coilover suspension.
This sale will include a toolkit, a spare tire, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Full restoration with custom Laguna Seca Blue BMW paint, Turner Motorsports 2.5L stroker motor with Schrick cams, custom interior two-tone with houndstooth centers and black leather.”

How about some answer to the questions below. Getting itchy to bid here but that info is key.
Thanks
Beautiful build. Any pics of the body/paint work in process? 2.5L motor specs? GLWTA

Do you have any technical specs that can be provided? HP/Torque, etc…
And is there a post-able full resto-mod sheet available? Thank you. 🙂
Amazing build! This really is a brand new car. Was the original paint stripped or was it painted over? What was the estimated cost of this build?
