Representing BMW’s first generation M3, the E30 is powered by a high-revving S14 inline-four engine and has gained legendary status among car enthusiasts worldwide. This 1990 example has been refinished in its original color of Black over a matching interior and has been modified with a Conforti performance chip, a Borla exhaust system, a Racing Dynamics front strut tower brace, a set of TC Kline coilovers with Koni shocks, 17” Apex ARC-8 wheels, Recaro bucket seats, and more. Acquired by the seller from its former owner of 27 years, this M3 is now being offered for auction out of Florida with less than 137k miles showing on the odometer.

The E30 M3 shares few body panels with the standard 3-series and is distinguishable by its boxed fender flares, rocker panels, model-specific valences, and lightweight fiberglass trunk lid with a fixed wing. This M3 was reportedly refinished in its original Black color in 2017 and sits lower on a set of TC Kline coilovers with Koni shocks and a set of 17” Apex ARC-8 wheels wrapped in Yokohama S Drive tires from 2018. Equipment includes an electric sunroof, fog lights, quad headlights, and dual exhaust outlets. A Sport Evolution-style rear wing with a carbon fiber Gurney flap has also been added, and the seller reports that they have repaired the hood latch in preparation for the sale, performed a 2-step paint correction, and applied a ceramic coating. Small areas of orange peel on the rear-facing edge of the trunk and the lower front lip spoiler are also noted by the seller. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is upholstered in black leather and has been fitted with a pair of manually adjustable Recaro Speed bucket seats with cloth inserts and red Schroth four-point harnesses, with the factory seatbelts retained. Additional modifications include an Alpine head unit with Bluetooth capability, aftermarket speakers, a trunk-mounted Rockford Fosgate amplifier, and a Sound Ordinance subwoofer, along with a microfiber shift boot, a MOMO Tuner steering wheel, and a MOMO Anatomico shift knob. The seller reports the air conditioning system does not blow cold. The rear glass trim and door seals have been repaired in preparation for the sale. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be in working condition, with no warning lights present.

Powered by a 2.3-liter S14 inline-four engine with individual throttle bodies, the E30 M3 sends power to its rear wheels by way of a 5-speed Getrag manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. This M3 has been modified with a Conforti performance chip, a Borla exhaust system, TC Kline coilovers with Koni shocks, and a Racing Dynamics front strut tower brace. Reported maintenance includes the replacement of the alternator, tensioner, and radiator in 2017, the replacement of the water pump in 2018, and the replacement of the oil pan gaskets in 2022.

This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a car cover, the original wheels and tires, the original steering wheel, ECU, additional spare parts, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “Owning a 1990 M3 is more than just having a classic car—it's possessing a piece of automotive history that few can claim. This is your chance to join an elite group of owners who appreciate the unmatched blend of performance, style, and exclusivity that the 1990 BMW M3 represents.”

@Brandon Hi Brandon, thank you for your concern.
We are located in Hollywood, and looks like we are with a better forecast here. Nevertheless, the car is in a fully covered concrete building with AC, like all of our cars, so it's pretty safe!

Is the car safe from current weather headed that way? Looks like you’re south of the worst (I hope).

@BFRI Hello, no, we are not the buyers of the car from BaT, it had a previous owner to us, he was from NY and the current title is from NY.
We provided a fresh set of pictures to the Pcarmarket team, we'll be requesting them now to update the auction. Thank you for the comment

Is the selling dealer the purchaser of this car from its previous BAT listing? Based on the carfax it was never registered after that sale, made its way to FL but the previous buyer stated it was going to NY? Same pictures used for this listing a year later? Any info would be helpful. Thanks
