This 1990 Audi Coupe Quattro has been customized in the style of the iconic S2 which was sold exclusively in the European market. It was purchased out of Colorado in 2013 and was transformed at a cost of over $40k including a repaint in yellow, S2-style bodywork, a full interior swap, and a replacement 91' Audi 200TQ 20V 3B engine from Shokan. The engine is upgraded with a Garrett GTX2860RS turbocharger, TiAL wastegate, an RS2 T3 exhaust manifold, a custom stainless-steel downpipe, and a VEMS Motronic engine management system. The 5-speed manual transmission features a Spec aluminum flywheel and Stage II clutch, and the chassis is fitted with a full coilover suspension with upgraded bushings and strut bars. A no-expense-spared tribute to the original Audi “S” car, this Coupe Quattro is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Ohio.
This Coupe was refinished in the current shade of pale yellow and fitted with an S2 front and rear bumper. Clear European-style lenses have been installed along with LED marker lights and an HID headlight conversion kit. The car rides on 18” x 8.5” Enkei GTC01RR wheels dressed in Pirelli P Zero tires (1522). The seller describes the exterior to be in very good overall condition while completely covered in clear paint protection film. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black leather interior was swapped over from a lower-mileage Audi Coupe and features a three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, custom carbon fiber trim, a billet aluminum shift knob, a chromoly harness bar, and a turbo boost gauge mounted in the center air vent. A fire extinguisher is mounted behind the passenger seat and an aftermarket Alpine stereo is paired with upgraded speakers in the door panels. Other features include heated and power-adjustable front seats with driver memory, power windows and mirrors, an onboard computer, and gauges in the center console for battery voltage, oil pressure, and oil temperature. The seller notes the battery has been relocated beneath the passenger seat and the air-conditioning system was removed under prior ownership. The odometer is currently inoperable and the car’s true mileage is unknown.
A replacement turbocharged inline 5-cylinder 20-valve engine was sourced from a 1991 Audi 200 Quattro and purchased from the specialists at Shokan Coach Works. Between January 2014 and June 2020, the engine was extensivity modified at PURE Tuning in Ohio including a Garrett GTX2860RS turbocharger and T3 turbine housing, a TiAL wastegate, ID725 fuel injectors, an upgraded fuel pump, new turbo oil & coolant lines, an RS2 T3 exhaust manifold, a custom 304 stainless-steel downpipe with motorsports high-flow cats, and a VEMS Motronic engine management system with wideband O2. All four wheels are driven through a 5-speed manual transmission with a Spec lightweight aluminum flywheel and Stage II clutch & pressure plate. Upgraded Porterfield brake pads have been installed and a full coilover suspension is equipped along with upgraded bushings, sway bar end links, Chromoly strut bars, and complete tie rod assemblies.
This sale will include build documentation and a clean title.

@delanodp The ABS light. The car has new brakes all the way around.
I have a bone stock 1990 coupe with 30k miles on it. When I originally bought it, the intention was to build something like this...but I just could not bring myself to do it. This is a really committed project for sure!
@BlancoM2 Dyno results from Pure Tuning in Toledo were 300 hp at the wheels and over 370 hp at the engine.

A few more questions I thought of:
Are there dyno sheets or any info on power/tuning if the car?
What is that constant whistling sound in the latter half of the driving video? Can it be identified and/or eliminated?
Thanks

I have a few questions about the car:
Wondering if the seller knows how easy/hard it would be to re-install the AC? Is the cabin heating currently functional or was that removed as well? What brand are the coilovers? Is the center locking diff still functional and are the other diffs stock? And finally, could the seller provide some undercarriage/suspension pictures?
Thanks, I appreciate your time.
