In 1988, Porsche introduced the 944 Turbo S, which boasted a 30-horsepower increase from the standard 944 Turbo. From 1989 onwards, the enhanced powertrain of the Turbo S became standard for the Turbo model although the ‘S’ designation was discontinued. Finished in Guards Red over black upholstery, this 1989 example was initially delivered to Lynnfield Imported Cars in Massachusetts. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida showing under 60k miles on the odometer, accompanied by a window sticker and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
The 944 Turbo stands out with its distinctive aerodynamic front nose and body-colored rear diffuser, setting it apart from the standard 944. This example comes finished in Guards Red (LM3A). Equipment includes pop-up headlights, front fog lights, an electric slide/tilt sunroof, and a rear spoiler. It rides on 16” Club Sport alloy wheels dressed in Bridgestone tires. The rear wheel arches show some cracking within the paint protection film, and detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin features Black partial leather upholstery with a matching dashboard, door panels, center console, and carpets. Amenities include air conditioning, power-adjustable front seats & windows, dual front airbags, air conditioning, cruise control, a leather-wrapped 4-spoke steering wheel, and a Porsche CD-2 radio with a Blaupunkt equalizer.
The M44/52 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, originally rated at 247 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque, sends power to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential. Stopping power is provided by 4-piston calipers with ventilated discs and an anti-lock braking system. Recent service includes replacements of the timing belt, balance shaft belt, tensioners, and rollers.
This sale will include a clean title, a window sticker, and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.

@AK9eleven - Everything, including the A/C work as they should. Tires are dated 2013. The car was stored in a climate controlled warehouse, so they do not have any dry rot. They look good. A full service was recently completed. It included the timing belts.
Does everything work including AC ? Any pending maintenance issues ? Date codes on tires ?
@tcmiami305 - Yes. Message me via the "Contact Seller" tab, and we can set up a time.
I live in Miami is it possible to see the car?
@Smirnov - it has now been fixed. It was broken for less then 50 miles.

This is a concise history of the car according to the records from the previous owner. The vehicle was initially a Porsche executive car, indicated by the "Not for Sale" sign on the window sticker. It was first assigned to Peter Schmitz, the Vice President of Racing. Following Peter Schmitz's retirement, the car was reassigned to Mike Love, the Head of Compliance. The first retail customer purchased it in 1994. The present owner acquired the vehicle in 2017, and it has been predominantly kept in storage ever since.
Hello, everyone. I'm thrilled to present this auction for a stunning 994 Turbo. This collector-grade vehicle is sure to delight its new owner.
I am selling a car on behalf of a valued customer who has chosen to liquidate a small collection. To ensure it's in top condition for the sale, we've recently completed a comprehensive service, including the replacement of the timing belts. The car is now ready to go!
