Representing the final year of the 911 Carrera 3.2, this 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa is finished in Guards Red over a Black interior and features a 5-speed G50 manual gearbox, polished 16” Fuchs wheels, air conditioning, power seats, integrated fog lights, and more. It is said to have been cared for by two prior owners and has been completely refinished in its original color. Showing approximately 109k miles on the odometer, this 911 is now being offered for auction out of Arizona.
This 911 has been refinished in Guards Red with a clear coat and features a brushed silver Targa bar, a removable black vinyl roof panel, and polished 16” Fuchs wheels. Other equipment includes H4 headlamps, integrated fog lights, power mirrors, a heated rear window, rear bumperettes, and a single exhaust outlet. The exterior is said to be in excellent condition with a layer of ceramic coating. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black partial leather interior includes power-adjustable front seats, a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, power windows, a central locking system, air conditioning, cruise control, and an aftermarket stereo. All gauges and accessories are said to be working properly.
An air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 217 HP and 195 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. The car is equipped with rack & pinion steering and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. A full service is said to have been completed within the last 50 miles.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a car cover, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Recently serviced 50 miles ago, located in Scottsdale, Arizona if local feel free to come look at it. Was just recently detailed and ceramic coated.”

@targahawk full service less than 100 miles ago. I don’t know if any oil leaks and I’m sure the Porsche mechanic would’ve told me. I do think it might have a tear in one of the axle boots that’s about it.

Is the original cassete player available?
How old are the tires? Are there date codes? The right front tire looks badly damaged and unsafe to drive.
Bid in the amount of $23,500
Are there loose wires under the dash - pic 30?
Bid in the amount of $15,000
@Caymanorcarrera The factory color is guards red basecoat only. It was refinished and base coat/clearcoat in guards red it’s identical look at the jams.
Bid in the amount of $12,000
The polished Fuchs and the wood sfift knob were also a bad idea…….but it has some considerable strengths🤗
You may have mentioned this in a prior message but the write up references that the car has been “refinished” in guards red. Was it another color previously?
@Sdickey just spent $3500 to have the targa top completely redone, will send photos in still. Targa top restoration was done 30 days ago.
Thanks for the quick reply. The first two photos nor the videos show a close up of the top in place from a POV where you can evaluate the wear & tear or any buckling on the seams which as you know is common in Targas of this generation.
@Sdickey The target top is shown in the first two pictures and on the driveway video. I’m still waiting for service records from the owner. Who is my lawyer. I’ll display them when I get them. Thank you.
Can you provide some pictures of the Targa top in place? Any documentation on service/receipts?
@perrydodd LOL appreciate the candor and GLWTS, G-bodies live forever, this one's just a baby
@Billythemountain No power steering, the rear speakers were a bad idea this car belongs to my attorney and he had that audio system installed
