Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Porsche 911 and the final year of the Carrera 3.2, the 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster is a limited-production model inspired by the original 356 Speedster of the 1950s. It features a unique open-top two-seater configuration, a shortened windscreen, a distinctive double-hump tonneau cover, roll-up windows, wide Turbo-style bodywork, and a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. Among 823 Speedsters delivered to the U.S. and 2,103 produced worldwide, this example is said to be the only one finished in the Paint to Sample color of Light Yellow. It showcases a unique Mahogany leather interior with full power-operated seats, a shortened gear shift lever, air conditioning, cruise control, an alarm system, and a Blaupunkt Reno radio. The car was originally owned in Washington and spent most of its life in California, where it resides today. This remarkable, one-of-a-kind 911 Speedster is now being offered for auction with just over 13k miles on the odometer.
Based on the standard Carrera 3.2 chassis, the 911 Speedster features wide fenders from the 911 Turbo, a short steeply-raked windscreen, shortened side windows, and a fiberglass double-hump tonneau cover that conceals a manually operated convertible top. This example came factory-finished in the Paint to Sample color of Light Yellow (L117) from Porsche’s 1970s color palette. Equipment includes a brown convertible top and boot cover, integrated fog lights, heated and power-adjustable mirrors, black stone guard decals, and 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels with body-colored centers and new Bridgestone tires. The Mahogany partial leather interior includes optional full power-adjustable seats, a four-spoke leather steering wheel, a shortened gear shift lever, air conditioning, cruise control, an alarm system, and a Blaupunkt Reno SQR 46 cassette stereo. The Speedster came with manual roll-up windows and features a carpeted storage area in place of the rear seats.
Equipped with Bosch fuel injection, the air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 215 HP and 195 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. Stopping power comes from power-assisted alloy brakes paired with ventilated, cross-drilled rotors at each corner. The seller indicates the car was recently serviced, and there are no outstanding maintenance items to be addressed.

To those viewing this car I would like to add it is from my personal private collection and it is stunning. No stories, No issues and Extremely rare. Yes it is a one of one color combo and the Light Yellow with the Mahogany interior is more stunning in person than in the actual pictures. Its been completely serviced and it is in concours show quality condition. The car needs NOTHING other than to show or drive it!
