We are pleased to offer this 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa finished in Grand Prix White over a Marine Blue interior. This final-year Carrera 3.2 is one of only 860 Targa versions delivered to the U.S. and comes equipped with a 5-speed G50-manual transmission as well as an optional short shifter and limited-slip differential. It was also generously appointed with supple leather seats, front and rear spoilers, and Fuchs wheels with painted centers. This 911 is believed to have remained with its original owner in Florida up until 2012 before passing through Marshall Goldman Motor Sales and eventually being acquired by the current owner in December of 2020. A fine example of a classic air-cooled Targa, this outstanding 1989 Carrera is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida showing just over 18k miles on the odometer, accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
This 911 comes finished in Grand Prix White (L908) with a black Targa band and removable roof panel. Optional front and rear spoilers were equipped from the factory along with 16” Fuchs wheels with Grand Prix White painted centers. The car is currently fitted with a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires dated from 2018 and the seller notes one small blemish on the Targa top, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
The Marine Blue (SX) interior features optional supple leather upholstery and matching carpets. A newer Blaupunkt radio has been installed and the factory specifications label on the underside of the hood lists the following equipment codes:
This Carrera is equipped with an air-cooled 3.2L flat-six engine that produces up to 217 HP and drives the rear wheels by way of a G50 5-speed manual transmission with an optional short shifter and limited-slip differential. The car has been driven very sparingly over the past 10 years and the seller reports service of the A/C system was completed in 2018. Some records are provided in the gallery including a 28-point inspection from September of 2020 at 18,715 miles.
This sale will include a clean title, the original owner's manuals, toolkit, a set of keys, and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. A true collector's item, this final-year Carrera Targa boasts a G50 manual transmission along with some of the most desirable options available from the factory. Do not let this opportunity pass you by.

You have go all the way to the bottom of the pictures and keep scrolling down. There are eighteen paint meter pictures, and all appear to be in line for an 1989
Hope this helps
Charley
When I looked at the paint readings it seemed that there only a couple of spots metered. Have you done the entire car and are there any readings that are off?
