Commemorating 25 years of Porsche’s most iconic sports car and the final year of the Carrera 3.2, the 911 Carrera 25th Anniversary Edition showcases body-colored Fuchs wheels, front and rear spoilers, a short-shift lever, and a Silk Grey leather interior with deviated black piping, a special center console, and more. 500 examples of the 25^th Anniversary Edition were sold in the United States, and this car is one of only 60 Coupe versions to have come finished in Satin Black Metallic. It was purchased new by the seller from Walters Motors of Hicksville, New York, in July 1989 and has been sparingly driven ever since with under 23k miles currently showing on the odometer. Accompanied by the original window sticker, sales literature, and complete service documentation, this highly collectible 911 Carrera 25^th Anniversary Edition is now being offered for auction by its original owner out of New York.

The 25^th Anniversary Edition comes standard with front and rear spoilers and was available in either Silver Metallic or Satin Black Metallic paint. This example is finished in the rarer Satin Black Metallic color and rides on factory 16” Fuchs wheels with body-colored centers. Other equipment includes front fog lights, headlamp washers, a rear window wiper, an electric sunroof, and Porsche-branded brake calipers. The seller states there has been no paintwork performed on the car and the exterior remains in excellent overall condition apart from cloudy headlight lenses and some minor stone chips. New Michelin Pilot Sport tires were mounted in April 2021 with just over 1k miles driven since. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is appointed with unique Silk Grey (97) leather upholstery including supple leather seats with deviated black piping and a special center console housing cassette storage, climate control knobs, and an outside temperature gauge. Accessories include power windows and mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, a shortened gear shift lever, a sound system, and a Blaupunkt Reno radio. The seller notes light wear on the driver’s seat and indicates the sunroof works intermittently. The front speakers also need to be replaced; however, a set of new OEM speakers is included for the next owner to install.

An air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 217 HP to the rear wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. The seller indicates a binder of service records is included with complete invoices dating back to the original purchase. Recent maintenance includes a new battery, starter, shifter bushings, and brake and clutch fluid flushes. The seller adds that the engine oil and filter have been changed annually regardless of the car’s mileage.

This one-owner Carrera is offered with an original bill of sale, window sticker, sales paperwork, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, an air pump, three keys, a car cover, a Porsche Production Specifications Certificate, a front bra, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. I am the original owner of this beautiful all-original limited production 25th Anniversary Carrera. Of the 500 cars produced for this series, this car is one of only 60 coupes produced in Satin Black Metallic paint with the original Fuchs wheels painted the same color. The car is perhaps not concours, but it is in truly excellent original condition. Evident from the mileage, the car has been driven sparingly, and when not on the road has been stored under cover in my garage. I have maintained the car well, including annual oil and filter changes regardless of mileage. Recent maintenance includes a new battery, starter, shift bushings, and tires. The car sports a set of Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season tires that were purchased and installed in April 2021...they have a little over 1,000 miles on them. The sale will include all original components, i.e., tool kit, air pump, spare, manuals, 3 keys, etc., and will also include all repair and maintenance invoices from my date of purchase in July 1989. The car runs great, is a very solid driver, a lot of fun, and it garners more than average attention. I have thoroughly enjoyed ownership of this car these past 35 years, and I expect the next owner will as well.”
