Marking the final model year of the 911 Carrera 3.2, this 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet is finished in Grand Prix White over a Dark Blue interior and features a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle sending power to the rear wheels. It was purchased new by the seller from a Porsche dealer in the Hamptons and equipped with optional painted Fuchs wheels, a short-shift gear lever, an 8-way power driver’s seat, and an amplified sound system. It was also fitted with an optional rear spoiler by the original selling dealer. Remaining under the care of its original owner, this Carrera Cabriolet is now being offered for auction out of New York with approximately 77k miles on the odometer.
This 911 is finished in Grand Prix White (L908) with a dark blue power-operated convertible soft top and matching tonneau cover. Equipment includes a front valence with integrated fog lights, a dealer-installed rear spoiler, and factory 16” Fuchs forged alloy with optional painted centers. The seller indicates the tires were replaced about 15 years ago and the car has covered approximately 1k miles in the last 6 years. Some cosmetic imperfections are noted on the exterior and the seller states the car was driven with a protective front bra cover which is included in the sale. Detailed images and paint meter readings are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Dark Blue (SW) features partial leather seats and new custom carpet floor mats with red edging. Accessories include an optional 8-way power-operated driver’s seat, a short-shift gear lever, power windows and mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, and a sound system with an amplifier. The seller indicates an aftermarket radar detector has been installed although the fuse is blown and it is currently inoperable.
An air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine sends up to 217 HP to the rear wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. The seller indicates routine maintenance has been observed including a transmission fluid change about a year ago and an oil change 6 months ago.
This sale will include a toolkit, an air pump, a spare tire, and a clean title.

Have a similar cab, so much bang for your buck, especially considering the coupes are almost double the money. Personally, living in California would rather have a cab, only take these cars out when weather is nice, assume most do.
@Autorama please see my prior response...thanks
@Autorama ...as mentioned in my previous reply,...this car is in great shape and has always been garaged...i have records, but i am not sure they are from day one...there has never been a problem with the engine or any mechanical part of the car...thanks

@Autorama i do have many invoices, but not sure if i have them from day one...but if you are interested, i will try to dig them up....the only thing of importance really,is the new tires, which are a year or two old, and have very little mileage on them, as for the last few years, i rarely take the car out for a ride..this car has been garaged from day one...thanks

I’m interested in bidding during the final 4 hours here but concerned the Seller is not responding to any of the community questions?
Hi Everyone - The Seller will be answering all questions shortly. Thank you.
Looks to be a nice car. Looks like some paint work can the seller explain?
I see a clean car fax with annual NY Inspections. Since this is a one owner car can you supply detailed maintenance records since day 1 ?
Thank you
Silent seller. Left a message regarding an inspection. No response.
I assume there were some paint job done based on paint readings. Could you please comment on work, why, etc. Thx
Is the seller willing to have the car inspected prior to purchase?
Great color combination.
Can the Seller plz comment on any rust, life remaining on the rotors and pads and have the fuel lines been ever replaced? THX
Bid in the amount of $36,000
@uscarrera … I own the same car.. unless you do a conversion the original OEM AC will not blow cold for very long. I had it filled on occasions but it just doesn’t work for long. Yet the system tests done reveal the lines are not leaking. If you want cold AC you have to do a conversion
Is AC cold?
