One of just 200 cabriolets celebrating 25 years of 911 production in the U.S., this 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera 25th Anniversary Edition is finished in Silver Metallic and equipped with a host of model-exclusive features. These include body-colored Fuchs wheels, front and rear spoilers, commemorative badging, a factory short-shift lever, and a Silk Grey leather interior accented by black piping and a unique center console. Accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and the original window sticker, this highly collectible 911 is now available for auction by its seller out of Connecticut.
The 25th Anniversary Edition was available with either Satin Black Metallic or Silver Metallic paint and came standard with front and rear spoilers and 16” Fuchs wheels with body-colored centers. This Coupe is finished in Silver Metallic with a black power retractable soft top and optional headlamp washers. It rides on Michelin Pilot Ecsta tires. A collection of images and a clean CARFAX report are provided in the gallery.
Inside, this special-edition 911 features Silk Grey supple leather (97) upholstery with black seat piping and a special leather-wrapped center console including cassette storage, climate control knobs, and an outside temperature gauge. Other accessories include power windows and mirrors, cruise control, a central locking system, a commemorative bronze badge, a Blaupunkt “Reno” radio, the HiFi Sound System, and an amplifier system.
An air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 217 HP to the rear wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. The seller states the selling dealer has regularly serviced this example, and some prior service records from Napleton Westmount Porsche of Illinois and Willhoit Auto Restoration of California are provided in the gallery.
This sale will include a clean title, a window sticker, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, a Blaupunkt stereo booklet, a toolkit, and a spare tire.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting our auction. This collector grade 1989 25th Anniversary has been part of 2 very esteemed Collections. It would be very hard to find a better example.”

Beautiful car, I have a bunch of Porsche's older and new models and my family's favorite is an 84 cab that I've owned for 30 years. Whoever gets this beautiful car is going to absolutely love it. Over the 30 years I've owned mine, it's started on the first crank every time, they are absolutely bulletproof.
@BBSAUTO Living and learning ! Thank you!
All chassis start out with as Rest of World or ZZZ cars. During assembly when USA items get installed the WPO tags are installed on the windshield and door and the car is titled as such. Hope this helps
