Powered by a 2.5-liter diesel inline-four engine and paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, a two-speed transfer case, and a locking center differential, this 1989 Land Rover Defender 110 is refinished in white over a black interior. It features a black canvas soft top, a roll bar, a pintle hitch, 16” steel wheels, and more. This Defender 110 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida accompanied by a British Heritage Trust certificate.
This example is refinished in white and comes equipped with a black canvas soft top, a roll bar, black wheel arch flares, front and rear lamp guards, a tailgate, and a pintle hitch. It rides on white-finished 16” steel wheels wrapped in older tires, and a spare tire on a steel wheel is mounted on the hood. The seller notes minor paint imperfections near the lower corner of the passenger doors. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The right-hand-drive cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl with gray covers. The dashboard displays analog dials, including speedometer, fuel gauge, and oil pressure gauges. The seller notes the wipers are operational but weak, but all other gauges and electronics are in proper working order with no warning lights illuminated.
Power comes from a 2.5-liter diesel inline-four engine, which delivers a factory-rated 85 HP and 150 lb.-ft of torque to all wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission, a two-speed transfer case, and a locking center differential. It has solid front and rear axles, with a suspension system that utilizes coil springs. The braking system consists of disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear, and the vehicle employs recirculating ball-type steering. The seller notes that the wiring and glow plugs were replaced in 2023, while the exhaust pipe needs repair.
This sale will include a British Heritage certificate, a cover for the rear area, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “It Runs and Drives very Well. I have known this vehicle since 2018/2019. It would be good to leave it as is and drive on weekends. Do some minor maintenance and drive it regularly. Or do a full restoration since it has low mileage and low hours.”

Thank you for your interest in this Two Door Defender 110. Runs and Drives Very well.
It is great now as it sits if you want to use it for a Weekend type driver or short drives.
If you want to drive it daily, or want to comfortably go several hundred miles at a time. I would suggest some new coolant hoses and replace the belts. Maybe $100-$150 if you did it yourself.
The tires are fair tread, but are aged. They would be fine off road or light road use. I would suggest updating them if driving on the road for long distance or road trips.
It runs and drives very well as it is now. The battery is very strong and it Fires right up every time and idles very well.
Very strong motor and transmission. Leave it running all day if you want.
If you are looking for a Good, Solid Defender, this is it.
