Powered by a rebuilt 360ci V8 engine mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission with a Selec-Trac dual-range transfer case, this 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is finished in Champagne Metallic with faux-woodgrain trim over a tan leather and cloth interior. It comes equipped with 15” multi-spoke alloy wheels, a roof rack, power accessories, air conditioning, cruise control, and an AM/FM/cassette radio. This Wagoneer is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Massachusetts.

This Wagoneer was ordered in Champagne Metallic and features faux-wood accents. It has chrome bumpers with overriders, a roof rack, an electric rear window, and a power-operated tailgate. It rides on 15” multi-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in Venezia Classic tires bearing 2021 date codes. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin features a combination of tan leather and cloth upholstery, complemented by a matching dashboard, carpets, and door panels, all accented with woodgrain trim. Amenities include power-adjustable front seats, a folding center armrest, air conditioning, cruise control, a tilt steering wheel, and an AM/FM cassette radio. The seller notes wear on the front seats, which may benefit from reupholstery, and signs of use on the steering wheel. All gauges and electronics are reported to be functioning properly.

Power comes from a carbureted 360ci V8 engine, rebuilt approximately 8k miles ago. The rear or all four wheels are driven through a 3-speed automatic transmission and a Selec-Trac four-wheel-drive system, featuring a shift-on-the-fly dual-range transfer case with a viscous coupling and a Trac-Lok rear differential. Power-assisted front discs and rear drums facilitate braking power. Most recently, in 2022 and 2023, the oil pan and gasket were replaced, the power steering pump was replaced, and the transmission fluid was changed.

This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a spare tire, and a clean title.

@larrygk There are a few Wagoneer parts suppliers and we always find the parts available and with fast delivery. Mechanical parts and suspension parts are also likely available from Autozone and the like. We have never had an issue.

    Parts availability?

  • Silverstone (seller) 2 monthsago

@Massdan The rear window works with the interior switch, not from the tailgate switch, Rear Wiper works. the front bumper is slightly uneven, I just pulled it out and took a close look. Not sure why, there is no damage per se Thanks

  • Silverstone (seller) 2 monthsago

@oakhurstdon The rear window works with the interior switch, not from the tailgate switch, Rear Wiper works also and the truck is 36 years old and I honestly have no idea why there are the small dents in the rear trim. I would guess that it was backed into something.. Thanks

  • oakhurstdon 2 monthsago

As previously asked, does rear window work? Does wiper work? What caused the dented trim on sides of rear window?

    Hello. Nice wagoneer!
    Couple questions
Does the rear window work as it should ?The front number appears low on the left side or high on the right side, or is it the photo angle ? Thanks

  • Silverstone (seller) 2 monthsago

The current owner is in touch with the previous owner regarding the engine build receipt. If he finds it I will post. I drove the car last and the AC was working fine.. Thank

  • rgelhart (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

I don't see you posted any paperwork for the engine rebuild.
    Does the A/C work ?

@pcarmarket @seller Your description is inaccurate and misleading. The Grand Wagoneer model WAS NOT introduced in 1963. The Grand Wagoneer model WAS introduced in 1984. The SJ bodystyle was introduced in 1963 and spanned 28 years from 1963 - 1991 across several models, including the Cherokee, J Trucks, Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. The Grand Wagoneer model ONLY ran for 7 years, from 1984 - 1991.

@oakhurstdon Well this is embarrassing!! I think the original writer of the text mistook AR for Arizona not Arkansas and I certainly did not catch that .. Thank you for spotting this and I will correct ..

  • oakhurstdon 2 months, 1 weekago

Checking the Carfax shows your beautiful Grand Wagoneer "began life" in Arkansas. It spent 16 years there, then a couple years in North Carolina, and then Oregon. So, Carfax shows no Arizona ownership.

Hello everybody welcome to this auction for a very capable four-wheel-drive Wagoneer. This is a nice truck that has been well maintained over the years, check the Carfax, many important parts replaced and repaired. A great driver with a rebuilt engine runs and drives very well. The car is located with me in North Andover, Massachusetts if anyone would like to come and see it, or have someone come on your behalf, please just contact me and I’ll be happy to entertain the visit. Good luck with the auction and thank you again.
