The last V8 Ferrari to have been developed under the direction of the company’s founder Enzo, the 348 was produced from 1989 to 1995 featuring Pininfarina-designed bodywork and a mid-mounted 3.4-liter engine paired with a gated 5-speed transmission. This launch-year example is a 348tb or Transversale Berlinetta finished in Rosso Corsa over black leather upholstery, featuring an upgraded Tubi-style exhaust system and magnesium 18” Challenge wheels. Showing an accident-free lifetime in California on the CARFAX report, this Ferrari 348tb has been with its current owner since 2010 and is now being offered for auction with approximately 33k miles showing on the odometer.
Designed by Leonardo Fioravanti at Pininfarina, the Ferrari 348 features straked side air intakes, pop-up headlamps, louvered taillights, a front spoiler, a vented engine cover, and quad exhaust outlets. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa and adorned with Scuderia fender shields, body-colored taillight louvers, Tubi Style exhaust tips, and magnesium 18” Challenge wheels. A set of factory 17” wheels is also included in the sale. Some cosmetic imperfections are noted including paint chips and scratches, dings, and scuffs on the front splitter. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features black leather upholstery with adjustable sport seats and a three-spoke steering wheel. Accessories include black carpet floor mats with red logos and edging, drilled aluminum pedals, a polished aluminum gear knob, a gated shifter assembly, power windows and mirrors, automatic climate control, and central locking doors. An aftermarket radar detector cable is attached at the central air vent and some wear is noted on the seats.
Power comes from a Tipo F119 3.4-liter DOHC V8 quad-cam engine featuring a flat-plane crankshaft and dry sump lubrication. Up to 300 HP and 239 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. An aftermarket Tubi Style exhaust system has been installed and the catalytic converters have been removed, although the factory exhaust components are included in the sale. An oil service and battery replacement were completed in 2023 and the hood and decklid struts are recommended for replacement.
This sale will include the factory wheels and exhaust, an owner’s manual, and a clean title.

Sold for $60,500
@CarCollector48 I’m just a 30 year old trying to get into an Italian sports car to learn how to work on them. You win some, you loose some.
@BavWerkshop Just more bid 🤞🏼😁
I’ve tried that tactic before. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.
In your case your comment and bid of an overpriced car with issues that you have been bidding on has gone on now since $30,000. Yet you still bid. Hahahaha.

@BavWerkshop Vehicle is reluctantly being sold due to health reasons.
@Ethan2023 Good morning. I agree the front bumper, and passenger door flaws could be repaired. Definitely not mandatory but sure would make the exterior perfect. As for the c pillar area if it is crack under the silicone you sure can't tell and i wouldn't mess with it. Just my opinion. I would recommend major service for sure. Happy bidding!
@Ethan2023 amen, most likely why the car is being sold. Definitely a good project!
@LVSMotorcars, to answer your question - the bead of silicone that @BavWerkshop is talking about to hide these cracks at the base of the C pillars (the buttresses), which are fairly common on 348 TBs but also exist on 348 TSs, as the cheap band aid solution is visible on picture 4 and also in the walk around video - another thing to account for $ wise if someone wants to fix it properly - requires some body work. That's why I was also asking about the bumper - it's different $ if a crack versus a scratch needs to be fixed on it (passenger side of the bumper, pic 12). These plus the scratches on the door and lack of engine out belt service in 22 years (supposed to be done according to Ferrari every 3 years of 3,000 miles and stretched at most to 7 years) mean that very little has been invested in maintaining this car over the years and that a bidder should provision for quite a bit of $ surprises
@Ethan2023 Good morning! I just uploaded close up pictures of the front valance and passenger side front bumper. I will get a video posted shortly of the lower c pillar area to show it is NOT cracked.
Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.
@BavWerkshop I will ask the owner but I do not believe the fuel lines have been upgraded
Do you know if the fuel lines have been upgraded/replaced? I know that was a common issue on these cars as well. It isn’t an issue to carry out, just gives an idea of past owner care of vehicle. Thanks for your time!
@BavWerkshop I will look in that area tomorrow
@BavWerkshop I gotcha.
@BavWerkshop 348TB’s *** big thumbs, S#*%!
@LVSMotorcars Where the C pillar meets the quarter panel, it’s very common on 358TB’s to crack there. The budget bandaid is to run a bead of silicone or paint along the area to hide cracking.
@Ethan2023 would you mind showing me a link to what it is you’re asking about so I can make sure to inspect the correct area for you!
@Ethan2023 I will get close-up pictures of these areas
@seller, the "scratch" on the bumper passenger side looks more like a "crack" - can you confirm? Also, on the buttresses, there appears to be a vynil seal that was glued on top of the whole length of their base, likely to hide these potential cracks that I was referring to - this is a largely documented issue on Ferrari forums n can you confirm?
Bid in the amount of $20,000
@Ethan2023 only body issue I’m aware of is the driver door see pics and front bumper has a scratch passenger side. Lower front bumper valence has contacted the ground and has marks on it.
Seller, any crack along the base of the c pillars (the butress is the most common area) - this is a known 348/355 issue that is said to be worse with the TBs than the TSs.
Bid in the amount of $10,000
@BavWerkshop I have price shopped the full major engine out service between $6,500 and $8,500.
@LVSMotorcars Thanks so much for your honesty, figured that. Please don’t have the current owner Rev it any more until service is carried out! Ha
@BavWerkshop last major service was done 2002 at 15k. Major service is do.
Hey guys. Just started looking into history of this car, I see you call out hood and deck struts needing replacement, but do you know if the timing belt services have been carried out recently?
Bid in the amount of $5,500
Bid in the amount of $5,000
@blackfish19 Good morning, yes this is a scaled down version of the TR. mid engine configuration.
Real Beauty. It's like a scaled down version of the Testarossa? This is considered a mid engine car rather than a rear? Because the motor is in front of the trans? thanks
Good afternoon. My name is Michael Tanore Owner of LVS Motorcars Located in Paso Robles Ca.
