This 1988 Porsche 944 Turbo comes factory-finished in Alpine White over a Light Grey interior and has been customized with a full Gulf racing livery along as well as several performance upgrades. The wrap was applied after the current owner purchased the car in 2021 along with the installation of adjustable front coilovers and rear Koni shocks, a TiAL wastegate, a 3” cat-back exhaust system, Fikse forged wheels, and an upgraded water pump, brake lines, fuel lines, and coolant hoses. Benefitting from over $40k invested over the past year and supported by service records dating back to 2000, this 944 Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida while showing approximately 163k miles on the odometer.
The Porsche 944 Turbo features a more rounded aerodynamic nose than the standard 944 as well as a body-colored diffuser below the rear bumper. The Alpine White finish of this 944 is covered by a removable Gulf vinyl racing livery which was applied under current ownership. The seller notes some clear coat degradation of the underlying paint, and that the vinyl wrap is covered by a 10-year warranty. The car also features an aftermarket front lip spoiler, a front tow strap, and 18” Fikse FM10 forged wheels dressed in Goodyear Eagle F1 3R tires (3919). Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Light Grey partial leather interior has been modified with a pair of aluminum Rennline track mats, stainless-steel Turbo-logo door sills, an aftermarket stereo, and a three-spoke MOMO steering wheel. Factory features include an electric sunroof, a rear window wiper, automatic speed control, automatic full climate control, power windows, power steering, a central locking system, and an electric height-adjustable driver’s seat. The seller indicates the original steering wheel and floor mats are included and a small tear is present on the outer driver’s seat bolster. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional.
A turbocharged 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine delivers power to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transaxle. The seller indicates an upgraded TiAL wastegate and Lindsey Racing Boost Enhancer have been installed along with a 3” stainless-steel exhaust system featuring a Borla catalytic converter. Other modifications include adjustable front coilovers and Koni yellow rear shocks, performance brake pads & rotors, and stainless-steel brake lines. The seller adds that the water pump was recently replaced along with the spark plugs, ignition coils, radiator, coolant expansion tank, coolant hoses, vacuum lines, and steering rack. Corresponding invoices are provided in the gallery.
This sale will include the original owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a spare tire, extensive service records, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Thanks for passing by, I have owned the car for almost two years and I have had fun building the car, this was a project I always wanted to do which was a race car for the street but still a daily driver if needed, Everyone loves the way the car looks and sits, it starts a conversation at every gas station and stop light. I have invested more money than I should have according to friends but the smiles and enjoyment that I get from this car are worth it.”

Again Happy Bidding!
Put it back* clarification.
@batasrki Thank you, so because I swapped the steering wheel , the airbag light is on which triggers the red light you see, if you install the original steering wheel (which is included) the light will turn off, I just didnt want to bypass it because I wanted to keep everything original in case I ever wanted to throw the OEM Steering wheel.
Car looks nice! In the driving video, there's a red light on the dash. What is that indicating?

Hello everyone! Last two days of the Auction, If there is anything you guys would like yo ask please send your questions! Just a reminder to all bidders and future ones, the car is ready to be driven, nothing is needed as I have made sure that the car is as reliable as it was when new, I took it to the track 2 times and both times drove it home without any issue. It has been a lot of work and money put into this but my ultimate goal was achieved which was having a car that could be daily driven in wanted but a track car or canyon carver when needed.
Ok
Thanks
@uscarrera it looks like it was something for the alarm. Ive never used it and if you flick it nothing happens.

@IAS Hey it does not have lsd, it was in my project to add it but the windows sticker is there if you look at the last picture of the post where the book of the car is with it its the windows sticker.
Hi, great build! Looks like a great cross between street and light use track car! I saw the trans cooler but I didn’t see a Limited Slip Differential? Not in window sticker or ancillary records. Does it have one?
@uscarrera and yes a close friend of mine is the guy who did my wrap, he can customize anything with the livery.

Thanks, went back and looked closer and found the timing belt info.
@Davearm127 the car also has receipts that date back to 2000 in the stack of papers I have in the last video.
Yes so all of the receipts that I show here are everything that I did to the car myself, before me in the video of the stack of receipts it shows that it was done before my ownership in 2021, and has been monitored ever since.
Very nice car. Scrolling through your receipts, did not see any mention of timing belt change. With this mileage, I know it must have been done at some point, do you know when?
Thanks
