We are pleased to present this 1988 Porsche 911 Turbo finished in Guards Red over a beige interior. A lifelong California car, this highly original Porsche 930 is said to be in very good overall condition with a recent engine-out service and reseal done at a reported cost of $12k. With just over 38k miles showing on the odometer, this sparingly driven 930 is now being offered for auction by its seller in California accompanied by a clean title.
The traditional Guards Red paint is said to be in very nice condition aside from a few small areas of thin paint as a result of polishing. The hood has also been previously refinished for cosmetic purposes, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX. Offering some of the most iconic styling cues from the air-cooled era, this Turbo features wide fenders, a front spoiler, black stone guards, a Tea Tray rear decklid, and classic 16” Fuchs wheels with black-painted centers and polished outer lips. The Toyo Proxes tires were reportedly mounted in 2017 with barely 400 miles driven since.
Inside, you will find a stylish and well-maintained beige leather interior that is said to be nearly all original and with only minor wear present on the driver’s seat. This Turbo comes factory equipped with power-adjustable side mirrors, air conditioning, power seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. All gauges and accessories are said to be working properly including the updated Porsche CR-210 radio.
This Turbo is equipped with an air-cooled 3.3 L turbocharged flat-six engine that sends 282 HP and 289 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual gearbox. This example is said to be in excellent driving condition having undergone a major service in 2017 at a cost of over $9k, as well as a recent engine-out service and reseal at a cost of $12k.
The sale of this 930 will be accompanied by a clean California title. For any discerning collector or enthusiast, this very nicely preserved low-mileage Turbo is not to be overlooked.

@jeff777 it doesnt give me an option to post the receipt but i will try and reach out to admin
Beautiful car. Can you post receipts of the engine out service? Thanks.
@TomP852 we have some service receipts and old smog certificates, carfax shows the servicing back to 1998
Do you have CoA, Mahoney window sticker, any service receipts? It would be nice to have. Any history for a car like this makes it more valuable.

@sportscarguy3 Thanks she is a beaut. Not unusual at all, our tech are factory trained Porsche guys so its better for us to pull the motor go through and fix all the leaks or issues, cars leak at any age, let alone when they are 30 plus years old. The new owner has peace of mind that the car is properly serviced and sorted.
Stunning Porsche...
Wondering an engine out service at 38 k miles . Isn’t that unusual ?
Also would it reflex hard use or lack of use
Finally, didn’t the later year 3.3 motor produce 300 hp ( not 282 )
Good luck with the sale
