In 1982, Porsche set out to develop what would essentially be a road-legal version of the 935 race car, the 930 Slant Nose Turbo.  The Slant Nose featured upgraded performance, new body styling, and bespoke features that would make it one of the most iconic cars in Porsche's history.

Up for auction is a factory 505 1988 Porsche 930 Slant Nose Turbo.  Being 1 of only 591 examples delivered to the US in 88’, this car is sure to grab the attention of any discerning collector.  After being originally sold new in Canada, the car was then registered in Georgia where it was recovered from a theft report. The car was later returned to the owner and transferred to Florida where he would reside for 5 years.  The car was then brought back to Canada where it currently remains.  The car currently holds all proper US and Canadian certifications.

This Turbo's exterior is finished in factory black paint.  In order to correct typical road going wear, the front end has been professionally resprayed, bringing it back to the high level finish you see today. The seller also states that paint-less dent removal was used for a minor dent on the rear left quarter panel.  Overall, there are no noted blemishes and all panels are stated to line up perfectly.  Bespoke to the Slant Nose Turbo, a handful of factory exterior upgrades were implemented such as a redesigned aerodynamic nose with retractable headlights, widened and more aggressive front and rear fenders, eye-catching air intakes, and extended rocker panels.  Being a cabriolet variation, this example is also equipped with a fully functioning convertible top that was replaced 8 years ago.

A few noteworthy upgrades on this already stellar Turbo are a pair of custom 18” Fuchs-style wheels, upgraded 928 brake calipers/Rotors with racing pads, LED headlight bulbs, and a custom Kremer sport spoiler that was ordered from Germany.

Inside you will find a black leather interior that highlights sport seats with lumbar support, power/heated mirrors, MOMO steering wheel, upgraded Pioneer head unit, and an upgraded Griffin air conditioner kit.  Overall, the interior is state to be in excellent condition showing very minimal wear.

Power comes from a fully re-engineered and upgraded 3.5L turbocharged flat-six engine that is connected to a 4-speed manual transmission. Still retaining its original numbers matching block, RSP Motor Sports reconfigured this engine 2 years ago with only 300 miles driven since.  A few perks of the new engine include an upgraded turbocharger, custom induction system with special digital fuel management system, Fab Speed intercooler, and an upgraded Borla exhaust with new headers. The result is a neck snapping 500HP and a perfectly running motor; all backed up by two letters from Porsche certified mechanics.  The seller stated that over $80k was invested into the engine alone.

The sale will include extensive service records, documentation, all books, keys, extra set of 17” Ruf speed line wheels.
