This 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe is finished in Venetian Blue Metallic and was acquired by its previous owner from the Collection of Miami, Florida in 1998. It was subsequently modified with extensive performance modifications including Porsche Boxster front brakes, Hyperco rear coils, a powder-coated roll bar, and a turbocharged twin-plug engine rebuilt and upgraded by Eddie Bello Motorsports in 2022. It was purchased by the seller on PCARMARKET earlier in 2023 and has been fitted with custom 993 power seats and a set of 17” Fuchs-style wheels. Showing approximately 75k miles on the odometer, this turbocharged 911 Carrera is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
This 911 is finished in Venetian Blue Metallic and wears custom silver Porsche script side stripes, black stone guards, late 964 generation aero mirrors, a 911 Turbo tea tray rear spoiler, and a front valence with integrated fog lights and a chin spoiler. The rear decklid is wrapped in carbon fiber vinyl, the Boxster front brake calipers are painted red, and the car rides on 17” Fuchs-style wheels dressed in Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus tires. Repairs were carried out to the passenger-side door and rear quarter panel by Stuttgart International Auto in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, following the minor accident reported on CARFAX in 2000. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is fitted with a pair of Porsche 993 power-operated seats with custom grey inserts and ventilation grommets. Other accessories include blue RS-style door panels with pull straps, Sparco racing harnesses, blue carpeting, a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, AJASA racing pedals, and a powder-coated DAS rollbar. Several auxiliary gauges have been added, a new Kenwood audio system was installed in 2022, and the A/C and heater components have been removed from the car.
Power comes from a custom turbocharged engine which was rebuilt to a 3.3-liter displacement by Eddie Bello Motorsports in February of 2022 including the following items:
The engine features a custom ceramic-coated exhaust and full bay intercooler by Bello Motorsports along with a new Haltech Elite 2000 ECU, GT2 Evo cams, Pauter rods, a 78mm throttle body, a custom fuel system, Race Ware head studs, Ferrera stainless steel valves, and Nirosist rings. The 5-speed G50 manual gearbox was rebuilt in 2018 and comes paired with an OEM limited-slip differential with Patrick Motorsports billet side cover. Other upgrades include a modified rear sway bar, Hyperco rear coils, 930 inner axles, Bilstein shocks, Turbo tie rods, stainless steel brake lines, and 4-piston Porsche Boxster front brakes installed in 2021.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a spare tire, an air pump, service records, three pairs of seats, a previous Dyno sheet, and a clean title.

That engine build is the sweet spot of this one. Would like to see the dyno results.

The tiptoe last second bidding is kind of funny for a car that is almost certainly nowhere near reserve.

@delanodp there was a small area in front which I had professionally repaired, cars very solid
Has the rust through in pic #173 been repaired? This makes me thing there is other rust...?
@delanodp 736 hp was Dyno, could prob be pushed a good amount more
What's the max HP on the Dyno results? Torque?

@nobrakes yes that’s correct, yes I have them
I see the mounting points at the bottom of the A-pillar and the holes in the upright sections of the roll bar. I assume these were to accommodate door bars, are those pieces still with the car?
thanks
@chuckent yes comes with 911 and 930 Ty
The calipers seen in the parts bin appear to be standard 88 911 calipers, appropriate for this 911. Why were 930 calipers removed?
@runner4fun yes they are included along with many other parts including a custom center exhaust that’s in the pictures in gallery
@runner4fun I do have a huge bin of parts that come with car so I will check and see, Ty
Are the removed 930 calipers included with the car?
Bid in the amount of $40,000
@prmnorton1 this is an interesting 911 outlaw hot rod sort of machine. I suggest scanning and publishing the receipts for the work you've done and the total project before your purchase.
I know it's "easy" to throw $100K at a project car in engine, transmission, fabrication, etc. The photos don't do justice to that time and expense.
got it, thanks
any pics of the rust repair area?

It can currently run on any pump gas
93 is recommended but 89,91,92 is fine
Car is a great driver, it’s actually very very tame when you’re driving normal, pretty much just like any other car, and you gotta remember just about everything on the car is pretty much new mechanically
And No, the boost comes in gradually when you get a little above 3000 RPMs but only kicks in if you get on it, when you really get on it it comes in gradually but it’s not too much unless you Floor it then hold on to your butt, and no, it’s not a handful at all. It can be just a normal daily driver, or it could pretty much smoke Anything on the track if you really wanted to, it’s really the perfect combination of best of both worlds in my opinion again, such an awesome amazing build my hats off to the company in Florida that did it. One of the best I’ve had an seen and driven by far and I’ve got a collection of well over 80 Porsche and I’ve driven countless beasts lol, who ever win this auction is going to be very, very pleased, also to note, I don’t think it was advertised on the previous listing. The previous owner spent almost 100 grand just on the build alone I was going through all the records and it’s crazy no expense spared. He took very very good care of the car, Ty
Cool car. A couple of questions 1) can you tune to run on 91, 2) how is this as a driver? Too much power to be fun? Does the boost all come in at once? Hard to tell from your driving video. Found the old videos from prior auctions and the thing seems to fly in a straight line. But is it a handful?
@Gbuch21 paid about 88,000 with commission and shipping, then I put about 8 grand into it, re did the interior with custom bullet seats and tightened up a few things, I changed the look and put new Fuchs on and new tires and did some rust repair in front, cars gorgeous, needs nothing and it performs flawlessly, also the original paint sticker is still on the car which I’m not sure was noted. I think the car is mostly all original paint. I will confirm this week, Ty
@Gbuch21 sold for 2.5 million 😃 lol
Hey all. I see mention that this was recently sold at auction and now back on. I tried to find , but couldn’t. What did it sell for last time ?
Bid in the amount of $30,000
Bid in the amount of $13,911
My goodness! 2.5+ times the power of a stock 911 turbo. Bet you could find yourself ass front in this in a real hurry! What a beast. Beautiful! Will be interesting to see where this lands.
@chuckent was tuned to run on regular pump gas, 93 is good, you can use racing fuel of course for a hp boost but regular pump 93 is good, it’s so Damn. Fast lol
@chuckent sure Ty
what kind of fuel does it require?
sorry, saw the comment on the tires
can you post some pictures of the front tub without the tool kit in the way, where the rust is, and the repair? Do the rear tires rub in compression?
@PorschePhanatic actually your right there is a little in bottom front, it been re enforced throughout so it’s just surface, everything else is very solid, nothing anywhere else, Ty
@PorschePhanatic there is no rust, No tires do not rub, no they are aftermarket Fuchs
Can you describe the rust you have found? You only show the one area - what else? Do the rear tires rub? Are those original Fuchs?
Looks to be scarry fast and will be scarry expensive!
@prmnorton1 👍 awesome spec.
@jasongrayhomes have way to many cars and don’t have time to really enjoy it, this one is absolutely amazing, no expense spared, truly one of the most amazing builds and fastest air cooled I’ve owned
Curious, why the quick turnaround?
