This 1988 Defender 110 has undergone a comprehensive restoration and customization, featuring a Corvette-sourced LS3 V8 engine, a GM 6-speed automatic transmission, a new Masland chassis, and fully updated suspension and interior appointments. Finished in a Keswick Green over a two-tone black and brown leather interior, this example comes equipped with a custom stainless-steel exhaust, a full external roll cage, a WARN winch, Baja Designs lighting, billet aluminum hardware, power accessories, a Pioneer head unit paired with an MB Quart audio system, and much more. With approximately 2k miles driven since the completion of the build, this extensively upgraded Defender 110 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Wyoming.
As part of its comprehensive restoration, this example received all-new body panels finished in Keswick Green with contrasting Santorini Black accents. Exterior details include a full-length external roll cage, rock sliders, black fender flares, upgraded Baja Designs lighting, billet aluminum side mirrors, and new glass. A WARN winch is integrated into the steel front bumper, which includes jumper posts capped with custom 3D-printed covers. It rides on body-color 16” steel wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, with a matching spare mounted to the rear swing-out carrier. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report dating back to December 2014.
The cabin has been comprehensively updated and converted to left-hand drive as part of the restoration. Aircraft-grade insulation was added throughout to reduce cabin noise, and a Puma-style firewall and dashboard have been fitted, integrating modern switchgear and updated controls around the center stack. The seats and trim are upholstered in two-tone black and brown leather with red contrast stitching, including the front and rear seating surfaces, center console, and door panels. The center console houses power window switches, a gear selector, and dual cupholders with matching brown leather inserts. Additional amenities include air conditioning, USB ports, and a Pioneer touchscreen infotainment head unit paired with an MB Quart audio system.
Power is derived from a Corvette-sourced 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine factory-rated at 430 HP and 424 lb-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a GM-sourced 6-speed automatic transmission and routed through rebuilt original axles and differentials. The chassis features a new frame by Masland along with Old Man Emu shocks, a front stabilizer, custom front control arms, and rear trailing links to improve ride quality and handling. Braking, steering, and undercarriage systems were also addressed during the restoration. No current mechanical issues are reported.
This sale will include a clean title.
