An evolution of the iconic Ferrari 308, the 328 GTS was produced from 1986 through 1989 and featured a larger Dino V8 engine than its predecessor as well as a new interior and revised Pininfarina-designed bodywork. This 1988 example is presented in the quintessential color combination of Rosso Corsa over tan leather and is said to have spent approximately 30 years with the same owner in Florida while registered at their home in Quebec. Benefitting from a belt and fluid service earlier in 2023, this Ferrari 328 GTS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada.
The bodywork of the 328 featured a more rounded aerodynamic nose than the original 308 as well as body-colored bumpers and a larger radiator vent on the front hood. This GTS is finished in Rosso Corsa (300) with a removable black roof panel and sports a black mid-mounted spoiler, side air intakes, dual mirrors, popup headlamps, integrated front fog lights, and a rear valence with quad exhaust tips. The car rides on factory 16” alloy wheels and the seller notes the tires are about 12 years old with approximately 90% tread remaining. The front bumper is also believed to have been previously refinished to address rock chips. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The tan leather interior features matching carpets and a contrasting black leather dashboard. Accessories include a gated shifter assembly with a polished gear lever, a leather-wrapped three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, analog Veglia instrumentation, power windows, and air conditioning. The seller notes some patina is present in the cabin and the tachometer was repaired in March 2023.
The Tipo F105 V8 Dino engine features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, Marelli electronic ignition, and an output of up to 270 HP. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 5-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A service in March 2023 is said to have included a new belt and fresh fluids.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a car cover, some records, and a clean title.
