The Bentley Continental Convertible stands out for its rarity compared to the Rolls Corniche Convertible, making it highly coveted for its subtle front-end design and Bentley’s esteemed sporting heritage. Only an estimated 195 Continental Convertibles were sold worldwide between 1985 and 1989, with a fraction making their way to the United States. This 1988 Bentley Continental boasts a white exterior over grey leather upholstery and is powered by a 6.75-liter V8 engine paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. It features 15” alloy wheels, a maroon soft top, interior wood trim, power windows, cruise control, air conditioning, a locking glove compartment, and power-adjustable front seats with memory settings. Showing approximately 52k miles on the odometer, this Bentley Continental is now offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This Bentley Continental showcases a Mulliner Park Ward drophead coupe body, finished in white with a maroon soft top complemented by a gray boot cover. Its distinguished features include a color-matched grille insert and bumpers, quad headlights, and polished wheel arch trim, headlight surrounds, and door handles. It rides on factory 15″ alloy wheels wrapped in 235/75 Ironman tires. Detailed images are provided in a gallery.
The interior of this vehicle features grey Connolly leather upholstery accented with maroon piping, complemented by maroon cut-pile wool carpeting. Wood trim embellishes the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include power windows, cruise control, air conditioning, a locking glove compartment, and power-adjustable front seats with memory settings. Auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure provide additional functionality, while the center stack houses a digital clock, outside thermometer, and timer gauges.
Power comes from a 6.75-liter V8 that features a cast aluminum block and cylinder heads along with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. Braking is facilitated by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, and the car rides on hydraulic independent suspension.

Can you do paint readings and show us the pictures?
Very sorry, I forgot to ask is any work has been done to the car and if so what? Also it seems like the headliner above the drivers seat might require work or replacement. It seems wrinkled. Is that the case?
I wonder if there are any issues with the interior, gauges or any stone chips or dents?
