We are pleased to present this 1987 944 Turbo finished in black over burgundy. Having been purchased by the current owner in April of this year, this 944 has since been completely gone through and is stated to be in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. With 135k kilometers (84k miles) on the odometer, this 944 is now being offered for auction in turn-key condition by it's seller in Ontario, Canada.
Kept in climate-controlled storage, this 944 is said to retain original black paint that stands in great condition. The seller does note that there are a few flaws present including minor rock chips and a small ding on the passengers door (please reference the photo gallery). This Turbo rides on factory 16” alloy phone-dial wheels which come wrapped in brand new Continental Extreme Contact tires. Other than the tastefully installed OEM Porsche chrome exhaust tips, this 944 retains its stock appearance.
Inside, this 944 sports an eye-catching burgundy partial leather interior that is said to be in excellent condition bearing very little wear. Factory options consist of a Blaupunkt Reno radio, central locking system, sport seats, protective side moldings, rear wiper, leather steering wheel, cruise control, and an electric sunroof. All accessories and electrical components including the original tape deck are reported to be fully functional. Nicely preserved, this example shows exceptionally well for its age and with the following items replaced, is sure to please it's next owner:
This 944 is equipped with a turbocharged 2.5 L inline-four cylinder engine that sends approximately 220 HP to the rear wheels through a smooth 5-speed manual transmission. The seller states that the engine has been completely sorted from top to bottom and the entire exhaust system has been taken apart, cleaned and reassembled. Having been driven only around 1,700 miles since the current owner’s purchase, this vehicle is stated to run strong and drive with no issues. Notable recent service items and replacement parts include the following:
The sale of this 944 Turbo will include the original books and manuals, factory hood bra, recent service records, maintenance book, two sets of keys and an accident-free Carfax report. Standing ready for prompt delivery worldwide, this vehicle is accompanied by a clean bill of health and a clear title in the seller’s name.

Hello everyone! I also thought I'd mention that I'm willing to assist in transportation and/or export in anyway I can. I'm only a few hours away from Buffalo NY. Also, if short term storage is needed while transportation is being arranged, it can stay in my heated garage for a little while longer. Good luck to all bidders!

I forgot to mention in my comments to @pcarmarket that the factory stone guard around the wheels has been replaced with brand new 3M stone guard, cut to original specs of course!
@1000songs its dry and 15 degrees Celsius where she is parked! 12" of snow outside though. As long as its makes it onto the trailer I'm good!
@Poormans_944 @Pormans_944 thanks for the love!
How is she in the snow :) - Christmas has come early to The Big Smoke this year!
I follow @genxclassic on Instagram, a true Porsche enthusiast and transaxle fanatic. I can assure you this car has been well sorted...bid high and bid with confidence GLWTA
@jaurand to my surprise, the door sticker and under the hood both have USEPA stickers!
@nanj I do not have records of it being replaced, but, it sure does grab hard. I had no reason to look into it further.
do you know if and/or when the clutch has been replaced?
@jaurand I'll look at the emissions decals tonight, but I'm fairly certain they are specifically Canadian emissions. Lots of cars are exported to the USA from here though, our standards are very similar
Since this car was originally titled in Canada, does it have the US emissions sticker under the hood or on the doorjamb?
