Up for auction is this 1987 Porsche 928 S4 Coupe finished in black over a tan leather interior. With only 41k miles on the odometer, this low-mileage example features a rare 5-speed manual transmission along with a recent service. A true stand out among other examples, this S4 is now being offered by its seller out of Florida in great running condition.
The black paint is said to be good overall condition with some noted scratches which can be viewed in the photo gallery. The S4 differentiates itself from its predecessors with revised front and rear bumpers, larger and more integrated taillights and a larger rear-wing spoiler. This example rides on Factory "manhole" chrome plated wheels which wear Toyo Proxes tires.
Inside this 928, you will find a well-kept tan leather interior. Celebrated for its balance of performance and comfort, this 928 example secures its occupants in a luxurious and cabin with no modifications present. No modifications have been made to the interior. All gauges and accessories are stated to be in working order.
Power comes from a robust 5.0L V8 engine that produces approximately 316 horsepower. The rear wheels are driven through a desirable 5-speed manual transmission which can accelerate this 928 from 0-60 mph in approximately 6.0 seconds. Clutch operation for the S4 series was improved by the implementation of a larger diameter single-disc clutch. Recent service was conducted on fluids, filters, A/C, fuel dampers, fuel accumulator, and brake booster. The engine has no modifications and is said to be in excellent condition.
Included in the sale are a set of keys, service records, and tools. With tighter handling and more power than its predecessors, enthusiasts refer to the S4 series as the “sweet spot” of the 928 lineup. This rare, low-mileage, 5-speed 928 S4 presents an excellent opportunity for its next owner.

@VertexAuto Thank you
@ngamountains Unfortunately, I won't be able to post a drive video. The odometer is functioning. I don't know if the odometer ever stopped working, or if so, for how long. The gentleman that we acquired this car from stated that he was selling it because he had been unable to drive it for years. When we received the car it had issues with the fuel dampeners and regulators, consistent with a car that has not been driven for a while. The overall condition of that car is also consistent with the millage, which to me is the biggest indicator.
Bid in the amount of $15,500
Will there still be a driving video as mentioned earlier? Does the odometer function? If so, do you believe this car has actually been driven under 1000 miles since 2013? Thank you in advance.

@eloutfi I just posted some detailed pics of the undercarriage and I also uploaded a picture of the batter tray with and without a battery. I will upload the other requested pics as soon as possible. Thank you!
I just upload several detailed pics of the undercarriage, including suspension, steering, engine, exhaust, etc . Very clean car on the underside. No rust at all, not even on the most vulnerable parts like the exhaust hangers and clamps. I also uploaded a picture of the batter try with and without a battery. I will upload the other requested pics as soon as possible. Thank you!
Can you add pictures of the manuals, receipts, keys and a video, spare tire compartment, and the odometer. Also does it have the original radio and the original rear 6" speakers as I see they have been upgraded. Nice color combo.
Thank you all for viewing our 1987 928 S4. This is a rare unmodified, low mileage, 5-speed, original paint example. The car drives fantastic! Strong motor, good brakes, shifts perfectly, great suspension, cold AC, etc. I'll be uploading undercarriage pictures and walk around / drive videos in the coming days. Feel free to ask any questions or ask for specific pictures. Thank you and good luck!
@allmack You are absolutely right! Thanks!
The rims aren't D90s but Flat Disc 'manholes.'
