This 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo was originally delivered to Washington, DC prior to being imported to Canada in January of 2006. Tastefully modified under previous ownership with Strosek 964-style bodywork, it comes finished in Silver Metallic over a gray leather interior and features a Prototec stage 2 turbo kit, 18” Speedline wheels, and much more. This 930 Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada showing less than 118k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Silver Metallic (L980), this 1987 Turbo has been modified with a Strosek 964-style bodywork, and rides on 18” Speedline Alessio wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport N3 tires. Equipment includes a rear spoiler, a sunroof, fog lights, and a single exhaust outlet. The seller adds that paint protection film has been applied to the entire front end of the vehicle as well as the rear quarter panels, the sunroof seal has been replaced, and notes that a trim piece is missing next to the driver’s side turn signal marker. The CARFAX report shows fire damage in August of 2004, as well as a minor accident in June of 2006 which the Canadian CARFAX indicates a $996.00 repair was performed. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, this 911 Turbo is upholstered in gray leather and features power-adjustable sport seats and additional equipment includes a K&R fire extinguisher, Rennline pedals and door handles, a Continental branded Bluetooth stereo system along with an OEM 930 S steering wheel, and an OEM shift knob and lever. All five dashboard gauges have reportedly been refurbished, in addition to the driver’s seat motors and switches having been replaced and the air conditioning compressor removed.
Power comes from a 3.3-liter flat-six that has been modified with a Prototec stage 2 turbo kit, an MSD ignition system, a custom exhaust with custom heat exchangers, and a Rebel S Racing front strut tower brace. Power is sent to the rear wheels by way of a 4-speed manual transmission and engine work was reportedly completed by renowned Porsche racing mechanic Andre Gaudet.
The sale will include a Canadian registration.

I would also like to add I would have no hesitation in driving this car across the country if we weren't in the middle of a Canadian winter. With that said, if a bidder is interested in buying the car and driving it home, I can store it in my heated warehouse until the spring as long as it's paid for.
@Alromano 100 %. What you need is a Canadian ownership ( U.S term is title) and a bill of sale. Both will be provided. I will arrange all this for you as well as transport. Been doing this for a while now. Cars like this are much easier to import because they are over 25 years old and are exempt from DOT etc.
Will there be sufficient paperwork to acquire a title back in the US
Bid in the amount of $58,888
someone messaged me about photo #43. It is a photo showing a seam in the PPF film. The entire front end of the car including the mirrors as well as the rear quarters are covered in PPF
@Buh_buh it definitely has significantly more power than a stock 930
@Buh_buh I don’t have a dyno chart. The boost is not adjustable but there is a vacuum boost gauge in place of the clock
Any dyno charts or hp estimates? Is there a way to control how much boost you run with this setup?

@The_emyrean_._ I think that was and older listing from some point last year. If we are "reserve guessing" I would likely base it off the other BAT listing but that's pure speculation.
Car is not supposed to be listed anywhere in Canada with a price. Can you send me a link please through messenger. Thanks
This car is listed for $139000 somewhere else on the internet and even references this auction. If that's the reserve or anywhere near it for the mileage and current location I'm out.
@prmnorton1 we have snow, ice and salt on the roads here now. The car was put away in my warehouse shortly after those videos were taken and the upgrades to the interior were done. It drives exactly how the videos portray.
Do you have any current driving video? I see those are old vids, thanks

As stated at the start of the auction I can assist with shipping anywhere in North America. I recently shipped a 964 Cab to Miami Florida. Door to door in an enclosed trailer was $4500 USD including duties.

@993David sorry I missed answering that. As far as I can tell the A/C system is completely removed. The Prototech work was done by David at the Florida Prototech location sometime in the 90's. I did speak with him, he recalls the car but doesn't have specifics. Another bidder has messaged me and remembers this car in Florida in the 90's looking as it does now. When it came to Canada it ended up in Quebec. It was apparently worked on by a Porsche racing mechanic named Andre Gaudet who ran a company called Porschehaus and then another one called Andre Gaudet Autosport. He is very well known in the Canadian Porsche racing community. Unfortunately neither I or the previous owner have been able to track him down and speak with him.
@seller I wanted to follow up on a previous question about the a\c. It is just the compressor that is missing or is it the entire system? Any dyno or information on the protect stage 2? I could not find anything.
Good morning I've added a video of the interior of the car. Thanks

@maladent ah-ha! That one from Harrow. Well now I am more excited. I was late to that party and I guess the universe just brought it back around.

@maladent listed as sold. Didn’t sell. We acquired the car from the seller a number of months later.
@sculptedmetal there are no stone chips through the PPF. I’ll see if I can arrange a compression test prior to auction close.
Previously sold on BAT July 6, 2023.
Hi Steve,
Really like the car! Can you tell me when the engine work was done? Do you have compression or leak down info? Are the rock chips through the expel film? Thank you for your answers.

I've added a driving video from the Fall. This is prior to the updating of the gauges, radio and steering wheel. I believe when the car comes on boost you will see why the driver needs two hands on the wheel !
Additional photos including undercarriage photos have been added to the listing.
@prmnorton1 I will be posting undercarriage photos prior to auction ending. Very difficult to do a driving video up here right now with our roads. I'm going to post one from the fall before the car was put in storage. It hasn't been driven since.
@ljpviper A/C system was removed from the car by a previous owner.
Can you post some underneath pics and driving video going through gears please, thanks
Also, I see it had no AC compressor, are all the lines and reat of the ac components present. Thanks

@ljpviper I was told by previous owner it was a small electrical fire to a wiring harness repaired at Porsche. There is no sign of fire damage anywhere on the car. The accident listed on the Carfax was a minor repair totalling $996.00 which is reflected in the Canadian Carfax report. I've added a photo of the Carfax description. Thanks for your interest.
Do you have any addional information on the fire and accident. Like location, severity on the vehicle. Thanks

Hi folks my name is Steve and I run a small used vehicle dealership specializing in Porsches just west of Toronto, Canada.
I acquired this Turbo last fall and I have to say it is an incredible car to drive. The car is in storage in Hamilton, Ontario about one hour from The Niagara Falls Canada/U.S Border. It can be seen by appointment. Also I can assist with shipping anywhere in North America. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
