Powered by a turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six engine, this 1987 Porsche 930 Turbo Coupe is finished in rare Marine Blue Metallic paint over Silver Grey leather upholstery and blue carpets. The car came factory-equipped with an optional limited-slip differential, an electric sunroof, an alarm system, and staggered-width 16” Fuchs alloy wheels. Cared for by the previous owner for about 8 years and reportedly serviced with an engine rebuild during that time, this 911 Turbo is now being offered for auction out of Florida with approximately 130k miles showing on the odometer.

The 930 is characterized by its wide fenders and distinctive "tea tray" rear spoiler. This example is finished in Marine Blue Metallic (L35V), a rarely seen factory paint color offered between 1987 and 1990.  Equipment includes a front valence with integrated fog lights, a front chin spoiler, headlamp washers, black rear stone guard decals, an electric sunroof, a rear window wiper, dual exhaust outlets, and 16” Fuchs wheels with black-finished centers, polished outer lips, and colored Porsche crest center caps. The car rides on a set of Toyo Proxes T1R tires. Some paint chips are noted on the passenger side mirror as well as paint imperfections on the upper edge of the rear spoiler. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX showing unspecified damage reported in 2012.

The cabin is appointed with Silver Grey leather upholstery and contrasting blue carpets. Accessories include 8-way power-adjustable front seats, folding rear seatbacks, a three-spoke MOMO Competition steering wheel, power windows, air conditioning, a central locking system, an alarm system, a tachometer with an integrated turbo boost gauge, a quartz clock, and an aftermarket Sony head unit. The seller notes a minor crack on the center dashboard and the mirror adjustment switch knob is missing.

The car’s turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 282 HP and 289 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transaxle and an optional limited-slip differential. Stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brake calipers and cross-drilled rotors at each corner. The seller notes an engine rebuild was performed under previous ownership approximately 30k miles ago, although no supporting invoices are available.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a tire inflator, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “This 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo is a stunning example finished in the rare and captivating Marine Blue Metallic—a color that gives this classic Porsche an elevated and distinguished presence. Inside, the gray leather seats paired with blue carpets create a refined and sporty contrast that you don’t see every day. The combination is eye-catching, unique, and truly sets this car apart.”

    @IGB911 Good morning
    Unfortunately, we don’t have any details regarding the accident reported on the Carfax, as the previous owner didn’t provide that information.
    At this time, we don’t have paint meter readings available either. That said, the paint on the car looks excellent throughout—very consistent and glossy with no noticeable imperfections.
    Happy to answer any other questions you might have.

    What can you tell us about the accident what was reported on the Carfax? Are paint meter readings available?

    @MiamiGarageClassics I stand corrected the Vin plate I saw had Z’s looking at other pictures the car has a US vin I looked it up in the PORSCHE system. It is not a Gray market car. I apologize for my mistake.

    @Roc911t3 - seller states 282 hp which is a USA version vs ROW 300 hp. Also fat rear bumpers vs thinner for elongated plates, but the COA would tell what it is.

    @Roc911t3 @buzzmeo
    As noted in the listing, the car does not come with service records, including documentation for the reported engine rebuild. What we know comes directly from the previous owner, who stated that the engine was rebuilt approximately 30k miles ago.
    We’ve made every effort to track down supporting records but, unfortunately, nothing has turned up.
    That said, we are actively working to have a compression test completed before the auction ends to give everyone more peace of mind about the engine’s current condition.
    Stay tuned

    Yes, details about the engine build out very important. Also it is a gray market car. For those that don’t know when you see ZZZ in the VIN number it means it was a European car exported to the US. Very interested in this car with a proper documentation.

    The miles don’t scare me but the sight of a household wiring electrical nut in pic 111 does.
