One of the very few U.S.-market Cabriolets to have been factory-fitted with the M491 “Turbo Look” option, this 1987 Carrera Cabriolet comes finished in Summer Yellow over a Black interior with optional Sport Seats. Pairing a G50 5-speed manual transmission with its 3.2-liter flat-six, it has been further enhanced with a Slant Nose-style (or Flachbau-style) front-end transformation, reportedly performed by Zipper Porsche in Beverly Hills upon the initial delivery. This incredibly unique Carrera Cabriolet is now available for auction out of Oregon, showing approximately 43k miles, accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and additional documentation.
This 911 was ordered in Summer Yellow (L10W) with a black convertible soft top and the M491 option, adding wider front and rear fenders derived from the Porsche 930 and a Tea Tray rear spoiler. The front has been customized with Slant Nose-style fenders and a bumper featuring integrated fog lights flanking a prominent air inlet. It rides on 17” Fuchs-style wheels fitted with Yokohama tires installed approximately six years ago. Detailed images can be viewed in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin presents Black partial leather upholstery, including optional Sport Seats with electric height adjustment. Other options include a steering wheel with a raised hub, cruise control, and a central locking system. Additional equipment includes power windows, air conditioning, and an aftermarket radio.
Power comes from an air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine rated at 207 HP and 195 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a G50 5-speed manual transmission while stopping power is handled by Turbo-derived fixed four-piston brakes and cross-drilled rotors included with the M491 package. The M491 option also equips the suspension setup from Turbo which lowers the ride height and supplies a wider track along with stiffer rear torsion bars. Additionally, the alternator is said to have been replaced three years ago.
This sale will include a clean title, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and a host of additional documentation.

It is a true learning experience when one reads and comprehends the entirety of the details beyond the first sentence.
it has been further enhanced with a Slant Nose-style (or Flachbau-style) front-end transformation, reportedly performed by Zipper Porsche in Beverly Hills upon the initial delivery.
First sentence says “factory fitted”. This was dealer installed.
I absolutely love this car. Love the colour and with the slant nose it’s a dream spec. I really hope it does well.

Reread listing again. Seller did not state that his car comes with a factory installed slantnose.
It’s misleading to call this car a factory slantnose. The factory did not build it.
Beautiful and unique… but how far into six figures is this expected to get? It’s a conversion. Still glorious and clean as a whistle—I hope someone buys and loves! Glwa!
Didn't meet reserve on BaT yesterday.
